Avanti Hotel

Going again this year as enjoyed it so much.We walked into the main town it was a bit hot but can catch a bus or taxi both ways. We ate out a few times, very close to the hotel. We even tried archery and enjoyed this too. The snack bar right by the pool served good food. There is amn indoor pool but we did not use this. We loved to local Cyprus entertainment so much, was fun and they had everyone joining in.

What a gem of a find lovely hotel spotlessly clean Lots of lovely restaurants and bars within walking distance Never a problem getting Sunbeds(which is a pet hate of mine) Lucy ash and Michael the entertainment team were brilliant Would recommend this hotel and would definitely be back

This is my 6th visit to Avanti and am already booked again for September The hotel is situated close to the harbour with several excellent restaurants near by. The hotel itself is fantastic - very special mention to the hotel restaurant manager Renata who goes above and beyond for all of her guests, and I have made a very special friend in her. The other hotel staff are also very friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff do a fantastic job of keeping al areas spotless. Thank you Avanti and thank you Renata xx

My friends and I had the best time at this hotel. The animation team were amazing especially Lucy and Aish they made sure to get us all involved with their activities making our stay much more enjoyable. Evening entertainment was great. Definitely would recommend to anyone thinking of staying here. We are already thinking of coming back next year.

Another great stay but noticed the grassed area and borders looking a little bit shabby! Renata and Klara (egg lady) were amazing, always a welcome smile. Location is ideal as we were on Bed & Breakfast, plenty of eating establishments within walking distance or even a bus ride away. We have noticed prices a little higher this year but it seems the same worldwide!

Just returned from a 1 week stay at the Avanti hotel as a family of 4. We had initially booked into the Avanti holiday village (sister hotel next door, you can use the facilities at either), however we were offered an upgrade to the hotel which comprised of the use of 2 rooms and on a half board basis. We did spend some time thinking over the move but were pleased with the decision to move as the rooms were interconnected / provided the kids with their own bathroom, and was an easier option for breakfast in the morning - the onsite supermarket has breakfast supplies (packaged croissants etc) and local restaurants nearby offer breakfast so there are a few different options nearby if required. Additionally, the pool seemed a bit less chaotic at the hotel (less people). Accommodation - As mentioned, we had two rooms that were interconnected. These were at the front of the hotel (overlooking the car park) and we had sun on the balcony in the morning. The rooms overlooking the pool had shade in the morning but sun in the afternoon. If we came again, we would definitely choose pool view as it’s a bit nicer. - Daily tea / coffee provided in the rooms and the rooms were cleaned daily to a good standard. - Key cards were very temperamental! At least once a day I had to request access put back onto the card, just a little annoying really. Hotel Food - We were on half board and therefore had breakfast each morning which was very good. Fruit, cereals, continental, egg / omelette station, sausages etc, all very nice. - Evening meals not that good. Although this was a ‘perk’ of the upgrade, our second visit to the restaurant was very poor. We thought a visit when it was an Italian themed night would be a great choice with the kids, but it was pretty mediocre. Kids station was quite limited and although the salad selection was good, the main courses were poor and bordering on inedible and the desserts were lacking. Perhaps we went on a bad day. - Food at the pool bar was decent, 8-9 € for things like a club sandwich, burger etc which came with chips and salad - good portions. A few kids options like chicken nuggets and chips were about 6 €. Pool bar was very understaffed though, took a long time to get even a drink. The pool bar was good in that half is a swim up but I think more staff would help as the season gets busier. Entertainment - Some entertainment existed in the day, Ash and Lucy did a good job and it was not intrusive at all. However, it would have been good for more to be on e.g. a pool competition, and more for the kids other than boules in the morning and water polo in the afternoon. - Evening entertainment was ok. Seemed to be more on at the village but the hotel entertainment available increased during our time (our holiday straddled before and during May half term). Some things were on quite late though eg dance show at 9.30. There was a mini disco at 8.30(?) each night but aimed at younger kids. Other - We travelled with Jet 2 so eligib

We had a lovely 10 night stay here in early May. We found the hotel spotlessly clean throughout. The facilities were very good and the pool area was very nice. The friendly lifeguard (Eddie Cochan 😁) aways enjoyed a chat too! The breakfast was plentiful and lots to choose from. The entertainment was OK most nights. All in all a very good stay. We stayed at the avanti for 10 nights and it’s been an amazing trip. The hotel is absolutely spotless, rooms cleaned every day and fresh pool towels daily if you need. We got engaged in Cyprus and the hotel was perfectly decorated when we got back from dinner. I messaged Zoe from reception prior to the arrival and she was extremely helpful with recommendations. It was also a birthday whilst here and once again the hotel pulled out the stops to ensure we had a great ending to the day with a birthday cake In the room when we arrived back ! It was very much appreciated. We played tennis whilst we were here which was a great addition! The hotel has many restaurants around the area and plenty of supermarkets. The shop inside the hotel is very reasonably priced so no need to venture far for water drinks or snacks. It’s also 20-30min walk to the water park and is on a main bus route to the harbour. The 611 bus goes up and down the road right at the back of the hotel so easy for everyone ! Breakfast at the hotel was great and as expected for a buffet. Always fresh and hot with variety of foods and cereals etc. Lastly the entertainment team were just brilliant. Out every day with so much energy and making the holiday even better. it’s not your typical entertainment team as they don’t constantly hound you to participate, but recommend getting involved if you can as it’s good fun and a nice way to meet new people ! Just came home from a week in the Avanti Hotel, room was absolutely spotless and reception staff were lovely! However Lucy and Ash on the animation team made my stay, would not have been the same experience without them!! Deserve some massive appreciation😊
