Pros: location, huge room by Paris standards, comfortable bed and pillows, great towels, big luxurious bathroom, lady at reception with long brown hair (sorry I forgot your name, but you are the best part of this hotel)
Cons: most of the staff has no idea what they are doing, and I expect more from a 5 star hotel, and I’m not high maintenance, by more I mean, I expect you to be able to execute on the things that YOU offer, and the processes that you put in place. I filled out their breakfast form for room delivery and hung on door, they never picked it up, ok fine, no problem, let me call front desk, oh wait, I can’t because nothing in the room tells you how to dial the front desk. So I get up and go to reception and they get the breakfast going. Food delivered, the “fresh fruit” was like something you get out of a can, syrupy and gross. They also didn’t give me scrambled eggs with cheese , they didn’t understand (even though I checked scrambled on the form they provided, I didn’t write it in, it was an option) instead of calling me to ask they decided I could have sunny side up and got mad when I asked for scrambled. At an international hotel, I expect the main staff to be able to communicate with me. Also, the sink in the bathroom is designed in a way that your shirt gets wet when you wash your hands. They also charged me 72 euros for a bottle of rosè that was 12 euros a glass, I should have just bought 5 glasses for 60 euros, because of service I wouldn’t return
