I had a wonderful stay at Fili Hotel and was truly impressed from start to finish. The hotel is beautifully designed, with modern interiors and a luxurious yet comfortable atmosphere. Every detail, from the lobby to the rooms, feels thoughtfully curated and elegant. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed was incredibly cozy, and the amenities provided made the stay even more convenient and relaxing. I also appreciated the peaceful ambiance, which made it easy to unwind. The staff were exceptional—friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a warm smile. Their hospitality truly made the experience memorable. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, which I appreciated. While there were many options available, I feel there is still a little room for improvement in terms of selection and variety. That said, the food was fresh and nicely prepared. Overall, Fili Hotel exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cebu, and I’m definitely looking forward to staying here again!

All bookings at Nustar Resort include breakfast and access to the Executive Club Lounge located on the 23rd floor of Fili Hotel. Mini-Bar is complimentary with a selection of 2 local beers, juices, and sodas. Nespresso machine with 4 capsules. TWG tea. Bottled water is unlimited. I appreciate the fridge being very cold. Gerlain Paris branded bathroom amenities, as well as bath salts for the large bath. Afternoon Tea (2:30 pm - 4:30 pm) Light snacks with a limited selection of savory and sweet bites, they need to improve on this. Evening cocktails and canapés (5:30 pm - 7:30 pm) Excellent food buffet. I like the lechon quesadillas, jalapeño cheese poppers, and siomai. I appreciate the bartender crafting cocktails from a menu of drinks. I understand the hotel is still brand new, but they need to do multiple inspections before releasing the room to guest. Vanity mirror was dusty from construction. The Butler service was very attentive, many thanks to Ice (Butler) for making my stay pleasant, he would escort me to the pool, and even breakfast buffet at Fili Hotel bypassing the crowd at the entrance. Breakfast Buffet is at Fili Hotel which is extensive and one of the best in Cebu. The problem is the crowd, while Nustar Butlers will escort Nustar guests to a table, there’s no dedicated tables for Nustar guests, which confuses the restaurant staff with seating assignments. Alternatively, the breakfast buffet at the executive club lounge is quiet but with limited options, they should have an a la carte menu to expand options like other international luxury hotels. The security at the lobby entrance is wildly inconvenient and inconsistent, every time you enter you need to prove you’re a guest of Nustar and not a guest of Fili or a casino player. It’s weird that they are sometimes overly strict and many times just ignore people passing by. Guests have a keycard to use elevators what’s the point of the guards that have a list of people’s names and room numbers, if anything that’s a security risk. The pool service is lacking. Shared between 2 hotels and the upcoming grand summit. The pool area lacks service of a 5-star hotel, towels need to be claimed at a towel hut. My expectation is that there are staff that will setup loungers with towels for guests. And since the pool facility is shared with the muncher large Fili Hotel it can get crowded. Fortunately, Nustar has a private infinity pool which was closed my stay. Nustar Resort has potential to be Cebu’s most luxurious hotel, they have the hard product with their spacious luxurious rooms, but they need to improve their soft product - the service from the butlers are outstanding and personal, but everyone else seems to be lost. For the asking price of 250-300 usd per night there’s a lot to expect. Nustar is primed for excellence but falls just short of achieving refined luxury. I’m hoping Nustar partners with Marriott and rebrand under Luxury Collection. Or even Hyatt with Unbound Collection.

Thank you, Holiday Inn Cebu. My family and I had a great time staying there for a few days. Lovely was truly lovely—it really suited her name. She was the most accommodating from the very start. We wanted to thank her again during check-out, but unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to see her. She went above and beyond in hospitality, and you’re lucky to have her. Keep up the great work. As for breakfast—OMG, we loved it! Special mention to the one who makes the coffee. Just a small note: it would be nice to improve or change the chafing dishes so the food stays hot. Other than that, the food and service were great. I will definitely choose this hotel from now on, as we always stay in the city for a few days before heading to our rest house. See you again soon, and thank you for the birthday cake and balloons!

Perfect location near it park. A little run down at some points, but still comfortable clean rooms. Nice rooftop but closed unfortunately. Good daily house keeping available.

Really like the atmosphere of the hotel. The water dispenser in our floor is nice. Good for the environment.

You get what you pay for with this hotel. Although some of the appliances are old they still get the job done. The smart tv was a great addition to the room as it allowed us to watch and stream movies and tv shows. The only disappointing part was the internet connection as it wasn't stable and it wasn't fast enough to use reliably if you wanted to work.

Obsługa była w porządku. Miła recepcja, obsługa przy drzwiach i obsługa pokoju. Ale nie dają darmowej wody w dniu wymeldowania. Dostają tylko 2 butelki 500 ml na raz, więc możesz albo prosić, albo kupić w sklepie spożywczym PureGold za hotelem. Jak powiedzieli inni, hotel jest trochę stary i nie najczystszy. Na kranach w mojej łazience była pleśń. Na podłodze w sypialni były włosy. Nawet kubki na darmową kawę nie zawsze wyglądały na dokładnie umyte. Powiedziałbym, że to hotel średniej klasy. Jak 3-gwiazdkowy, a dostajesz to, za co płacisz w kraju trzeciego świata. Więc jest to wykonalne za niską cenę. Lokalizacja była świetna - blisko Grab ride z lotniska. Kawiarnia UCC po drugiej stronie ulicy - chyba japońska sieć? Z jakiegoś powodu w tej lokalizacji i w jedynym Streetscape Plaza nie było dostępnych żadnych napojów matcha. Jeśli masz na to ochotę, idź do kawiarni + baru Brew101 i zamów brudną matchę i śniadanie labtingaw! Nie próbowałem room service, bo książka telefoniczna była błędna. Wystarczy wybrać 1, a recepcja zadzwoni i przekieruje cię do room service. Klimatyzacja i Wi-Fi działają. Klimatyzacja jest głośna, ale przyzwyczaiłem się do niej. Nie ma szamponu i odżywki, więc zabierz własne. Wygląda na to, że zatrzymuje się tu wielu turystów i podróżujących służbowo. Nigdy nie widziałem, żeby ktoś jadł w restauracji, ale czasami ludzie byli w barze

I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Poor service. First time in my life I got to use the bidet as shower. We called the receptionist for our complain about the unbearable hot temperature of their shower and we are told that they will call the engineering dept.to respond to the issue. But after almost an hour of waiting (imagine, I already got my body pre-showered,because I stopped when I felt that the water is so hot) we got a call asking if we will be extending our stay. And luckily, it was my husband who answered the call. And calmly replied, “No, we will be checking out in a moment”. Because if I were the one who got the chance to answer the call, then I will say “we will definitely not extending our stay. And never to come again.” I decided to just use the bidet as shower so we can leave the place. I hope this will not happen to anybody. Their price doesnt justify the means. NEVER AGAIN! 😌

Poczułam, że szkoda wynajmować tak duży pokój za tak niską cenę. Wydaje się, że jest idealny do użytku przez miejscową ludność. Słyszałem, że istnieje na rynku od ponad 30 lat. Jest kilka rzeczy, na które nowi japońscy turyści powinni zwrócić uwagę podczas pobytu tutaj. ① Awaria lodówki pozostawiona bez nadzoru ②Wyciek wody ze zlewu ③Standard: Brak ciepłej wody. Odpływ ścieków jest słaby ④Brak sterowania klimatyzatorem. Regulacja wylotu To nie jest klucz do drzwi na kartę, więc zostawiam go włączonego przez cały dzień, więc jest za zimno. Rachunek za prąd to strata czasu. ⑤Jak długo nie sprzątałeś swojego domu? bardzo brudny ⑥T.V Nie ma instrukcji obsługi, więc nie będę z niej korzystać. Chyba nic się nie poprawiło przez te 30 lat. Jeśli z czasem się zreformują i udoskonalą, nawet jeśli będą oferować pokoje po niskiej cenie, ich reputacja może ucierpieć jeszcze bardziej. Szkoda.
