Silver Beach

Very decent cheaper appendix to freshly re-opened 5-star hotel Pa**os Aktis, and you can use all its amenities -- breakfast, beach, bar etc. The Silver Rooms are also very nice, clean and new, next to the beach. The service was perfect, special thanks to Roxana and Katya. There is good taverna in the complex. We had a great vacation!

The setting, staff, scenery and access to the Aktis hotel amenities were fabulous.

We did not have a very good experience at this hotel mainly due to misleading information. On the good side, staff is nice. Breakfast, balcony and the room was ok even though they inform on several websites that you can have breakfast and use amenities of the sister hotel Aktisi which is nearby. On various websites, they mention beach, but you need to pay extra 15 euros per person to use the sunbeds of Aktis. The bathroom was very very small and old, they neither have a showerhead hanger nor shower cabinet. A/C didn't work properly (first noisy, then weak), it took a couple of days for maintenance to fix it (they were interested though). Overall, if these issues wouldn't resolve we wouldn't prefer staying here again in the future.

This has to be the best value hotel on Pa**os. Staying in this hotel gives you the use of all the facilities of the luxury hotel Pa**os Atkis next door. The rooms in Silver beach hotel are very clean and simple with balconies. The shower facilities are typically Greek with a hand-held shower head. However my room had a room safe ( not in my sisters room, next door). All rooms have a minibar fridge which is empty “for Covid reasons”. My room had a hair dryer although I think that had been left in by accident. We had garden view rather than sea view. All rooms have air-conditioning. The best thing is the use of Pa**os Atkis a really nice hotel. You have the most fabulous breakfast here. Beach beds should be €10 extra per day for two, but when I went to pay they said they were complementary that week as the hotel was not full. Also you can use the swimming pool which is an incredible 50metre pool. Virtually no one uses the pool so it is brilliant if you are a swimmer. The bay is lovely and both hotels are right on the beach at Grikos Bay. The biggest negative about Grikos is that there is no convenience store. So nowhere to buy even a bottle of water or an ice cream or some beer/wine. There are a few tavernas which all seemed quite good. There are some local walks and a bus service to other parts of the island. Come here for a lazy beach holiday or to swim!

Attention ce commentaire est absolument honnête contrairement à la présentation de l’hôtel silver beach qui est extrêmement malhonnête. A titre d’exemple la galerie photos met en avant des images de l’hôtel 5 étoiles Aktis. Il convient de signaler que l’hôtel silver beach ne possède pas de réception. On arrive dans une arrière cour qui sert plus ou moins de dépotoir et on erre avec ses valises avant de trouver une personne qui vous emmène dans le hall 5 étoiles puis vous montre ce à quoi vous avez droit dans “l’annexe silver beach”: une chambre minuscule d’environ 15 m2 et encore ! ( présentée comme étant une 20m2).On ne peut pas ouvrir entièrement la porte fenêtre! Petit déjeuner compris nous avons quand même payé 129 euros en septembre pour vivre dans un tel réduit.A fuir!
