Motel 6 Pearl, MS - Jackson Airport

In town for training and was assigned this hotel twice at 2 different times over the course of two and a half weeks. A one-week stay and then a week later another three-night stay. The staff while never rude is not really what I would call friendly. A cheerful good morning to the front desk will not be reciprocated. I chalk it up to cultural differences so no big deal. The only exception to this, from my experience here, was with the American housekeeping staff. They were warm and polite. The rooms were basic but clean and everything worked. Some of the other guests complained that the beds were way too hard but personally having back issues I thought they were awesome. Some caveats if your room is near the front of the building you may have very poor Wi-Fi service. If your room is toward the back of the building you will most likely have excellent service. 0 to 1 bar versus a solid 4 bar. As you can see from the picture don't bother with the pool. The breakfast they provide is definitely worth a skip. Microwave sausage and biscuits you can heat up yourself, some honey buns and some fruit so I just assumed get an extra 20 minutes of sleep but if you need something it's there. Another plus if you don't mind a little stretch of the legs there are a lot of places to eat nearby for those sent to this hotel for training and don't have a car. To sum it all up, it's not a place I would go seeking out but all in all I would stay there again if I needed to and not be angry about it.

Best Motel 6 we've been to. We travel cross country a couple of times a year to see family. We use Motel 6 because it's inexpensive and pets stay for free. We just stop to sleep for a few hours. This Motel 6 is the nicest we've seen. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The room & bathroom were very clean. 5 star Motel 6!
