Essence Boutique Hotel

Lovely stay, seems to be newly built with a lot of attention for details. Loved the rooms and pool with national park views!

We stayed at essence over the new year period. It was not unusual for temperatures to exceed 30 degrees. In spite of this, every time we opened a door to access the verandah, or left the apar**ent for more than 20 minutes the air conditioning in the room automatically turned off. We made the staff aware of this but they said it was how the system was set up and could not be changed. When returning to the room from visiting the beach it was unbearably hot and took a considerable amount of time to cool down especially with no fans in the apar**ent to assist with air flow. The pools were very small for the number of visitors, much smaller than you would expect for the price and the pictures on the website. It was not pleasant to swim with people practically on top of each other. Although there was a kitchen, there was only the bare minimum of kitchen equipment. An oven but no baking trays etc to use, one small saucepan and a small frypan. It made the kitchen more or less unusually other than the microwave and kettle. There was a large fridge but it was completely stacked with minibar items leaving very little room for us to store our own food. The only thing the staff were attentive with was asking us everyday if the minibar needed restocking! There was also no vacuum or broom in the apar**ent, even when we asked for one, so there was often quite a lot of sand on the floor from returning from the beach. The view was lovely but there are no ocean views from this accommodation

This is a top quality property, with quality finishings, beautiful attention to detail, very friendly staff (all greeting you with a warm smile), and is in the perfect location - quiet, yet in the heart of everything Peregian has to offer!

The staff were friendly and excellent. Very close to the beach and a great vibe in the area. Facilities were modern, new and very clean

Amazing resort for Chris**as trip, nice facilities with swimming pool. Five mins walk to the beach and we all enjoyed the stay!

I can't fault the accommodation; after check-out, however, I was charged for damage found in a room not used during my stay, without consultation or conclusive evidence. Word of advice: check the room thoroughly beforehand!

This property if phenomenal. The decor is on trend and the entire place is calming and divine. Great location too with only a short walk to local shops and beach.

Awesome property and overall experience staying here. Close to the beach and the shops at Peregian. The pools are really nice and all the bells and whistles. Gym is great, and the staff really friendly and accommodating. All round a super place to stay. Loved it and will be back
