Masseria la Chiusa Delle More

Excellent stay at La Chiussa delle More, a very nice and pleasant place. Francesco is a wonderful greeter and Antonella a marvelous cooker! We really enjoyed our three days; everything is perfect, room, breakfast, diner and service. A marvelous olive trees garden, exquisite decoration details. Slow life, slow food. We love it!

Francesco and Antonella do a fantastic job running their charming hotel. The room was nicely furnished with a very comfortable bed, strong and hot shower, and black-out shutters. Breakfast is served on the patio of the main structure up some pretty stone stairs, as is dinner if you choose to partake. And you should! We didn’t plan on eating at the hotel restaurant every night, but I am glad we did! It was all prepared fresh daily by the incomparable Antonella, with a completely different menu every day, including a delicious vegetarian menu. I truly don’t know how she does it. We were well cared for in the dining room by the wonderful Nik, who seems to do everything around the property, as well as the always cheerful Natalia and the highly capable Sara - one of Francesco and Antonella’s daughters. Francesco, what can I say, is so engaging and always goes above and beyond to assist his guests in any way possible - including picking us up at the train station and taking us up to town. We had a car snafu and so were left to make do without one, but between Francesco’s helpfulness in providing transport at crucial moments, the beach being a 10 minute walk away, and the bus stop that is just down the street from the property, we felt very independent. (Note that the bus stop is not listed on posted schedules or on Google Maps, but there is a Fermata sign on either side of the main road showing you where to stand, and the bus will stop there if someone is waiting to get on or off.) In addition to visiting Peschici and Vieste, we also did a cooking class on the property one afternoon, where we learned to make stuffed eggplant and orecchiette - our friends will be so impressed!

An exceedingly well run hotel with friendly, warm and attentive staff. Set in beautiful, private grounds with far reaching views of Peschici. The food was exquisite, I’d recommend anyone staying here to take the fixed price dinner and enjoy the delicious local produce and very reasonably priced wine selection. Breakfast was also amazing, one of the best I’ve enjoyed on my travels. Absolutely delighted to have found this wonderful little gem.

La Chiusa delle More is a gem. This beautiful B&B looking over a vast olive grove, with a view of the hilltown of Peschici in the background, is a feast for the eyes. But what makes it truly outstanding is the care given to every guest by Francesco, Antonella and their staff, including Nick and Natalia. To say they go out of their way is an understatement. Not only did Francesco pick us up from the station about 25 minutes away and return us there, he rescued us from a sudden rainstorm, turning it into an adventure visiting an ancient monastery and giving us an historical tour. He anticipated our needs and offered assistance at every turn. The dinners, prepared by Antonella, with assistance from her daughters, were perfectly seasoned and each course was presented with taste and exquisite service.

... de sérénité et de délectation ! Immergé au sommet d'une oliveraie, ce lieu enchanteur représente l'étape romantique et hédoniste à ne pas manquer. Bien que les chambres et la salle de bains soient un peu exigües et manque de luminosité, le séjour est un incontournable. Le domaine est très bien entretenu, la piscine superbement agencée et la terrasse - qui offre une vue imprenable sur la ville de Peschici - est un must. Francesco est toujours disponible pour nous conseiller les meilleurs itinéraires de visite ou les plus belles plages du coin (à 10 minutes à pied). Les talents culinaires de Antonella sont un très gros problème pour ...... votre tour de taille ! Elle nous a régalés dès le petit-déjeuner (somptueux, avec ses pâtisseries sucrées et salées qui sortent à peine du four, ses corbeilles de fruits frais et ses oeufs brouillés. Le summum de notre séjour a été le dîner, où nous avons été en mesure de déguster des plats issus d'un croisement de cuisine des Pouilles et de la Sicile ; un vrai délice et une exceptionnelle créativité ! La palme d'or revient à un plat de pâtes, tout simplement renversant : troccoli al sugo di polpo e olive con burrata (voir photo). Il m'est arrivé d'en rêver la nuit ..... A ce degré de qualité et de prix, mieux vaut pas prendre le risque de dîner ailleurs. Belle carte des vins, originale et à prix contenus. Bravo, et encore bravo !

Semplicemente fantastico!!! Non serve aggiungere altro!!! Solamente prendersi del tempo ed andare!!! Cortesia, eleganza, accoglienza molto sopra la media. Cibo fantastico ed ottima selezione di vini. Torneremo sicuramente!!!!

Location bella con piscina vista collina di Peschici e poco distante dal mare. Proprietari simpatici e disponibili. La cena con prodotti di buona qualità ma leggermente "cara". Le camere: pulite e arredate con gusto soltanto un po' piccole per il loro costo, in particolare il bagno.

Abbiamo soggiornato alcuni giorni in questa meravigliosa masseria curata nei particolari. Ambiente accogliente e raffinato. Cucina strepitosa a base di pesce , colazione con torte fatte in casa buonissime. Ci torneremo sicuramente! Grazie a Francesco ed alla Sua famiglia per averci regalato momenti super!

Tutto ai massimi livelli. Location top, livello massimo. Privacy e signorilità. Proprietari gentilissimi, premurosi e molto attenti. Camere silenziose, pulitissime con tutti i comfort. Giardino, piscina, terrazza di assoluto livello. Ristorante ? Meglio di uno stellato, non posso dire di più in quanto assolutamente eccezionale. Bravissimi !
