Camping Bella Italia

We were a family of 5 adults and 1 toddler. Stayed in 2 oleandro bungalows. We requested to be next to each other and we was which was a good start. Bungalow was basic but clean had everything you need and great for children as they can play outside no cars to worry about. Swimming pools were a bit cold but no miver when the sun was shining. Worst thing it is hard getting a space round the pool never any where to sit when the weather was nice. On site restaurants were ok the one next to hotel was not very nice and the nicest one is the at the apartments, and the supermarket is great! Especially the bakery that is a must if you are staying here! There will be a que in the morning but don't worry it goes down fast! The pharmacy was good to they had everything we needed! The train was fine into pescheira and it's not to far of a walk, plenty of places to stop by for a drink or food on the way. If you come out of the site to to lake and go left there is a nice little childrens park. The childrens animation tent was Good the team was lovely. Great activities for the children. Nice little fair and lots of parks on site for children. Overall good holiday, it's just a shame we had rain most of the week! When it rains here it rains, coats are pointless. Bring an umbrella!

Beautiful location and great holiday die me and my wife. The staff bend over backwards to help us, maybe because I was trying to speak Italian to them or maybe because as a Greek we say "Una facca una razza" I'll be going back there again as I like the area, I liked the hotel, the staff was really helpful and I am comfortable coming back to a place I know and works for me rather than trying every time to find something new every time

The hotel’s facilities were top-notch. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop pool, which was the perfect spot to relax after a long day of exploring. The on-site restaurant served delicious food, and the breakfast buffet was simply outstanding, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from.

Very backward in dealing with public and as an organisation in need of de-bottlenecking for a better customer experience the smoke detector fell off the ceiling and just missed my son and when I complained they either didn't understand or didn't want to understand my complaint .their website is next to useless in functionality .

We stayed in the bungalows in August 2024. We chose Bella Italia base on excellent word of mouth but we’re left somewhat disappointed with some core elements. Positives: Bungalow is nicely proportioned and the air conditioning left the pace lovely and cool. It was very quiet so you could leave it on all night without disrupting sleep. On check in you can download the app and they will alert your account when your bungalow is ready. We got a complimentary stroller which was in great conditioning and very comfortable. On-site shops were fab, lovely fruit and veg shop, touristy shop and delicious bakery and general shop. It was good value. The train into the town was lovely and very reasonable and great fun for the kids. Lots of restaurants in the town. The scenery was lovely and lots to do on the lake such as sports and these were very reasonable, ie sup boards 20euro. People were very friendly on site and lifeguards looked like they were looking at the pool. The accommodation was quiet and we had no noise issues. Good range of activities such as archery etc. the football skills was packed so they had split it into three groups with one group playing at a time. The price was in line with other places and it was close to the airport. Reception were helpful. Cons: The people in the kids club were lovely but the activities were very boring and not differentiated by age, ie my 3 year old and 8 year old were giving a sheet of paper to draw a hand print or do some colouring. Lots of kids staring into space waiting to be collected after a few minutes. It didn’t look safe either as it wasn’t enclosed so kids could wander off if they were inclined. We book the camps specifically for the kids club so our son can meet others and play with kids his own age but there were no activities really for him to do this. The treasure hunt was good and there was a pool activity but I didn’t feel comfortable with him going. I asked him did he want to go to the club but he had no interest. They were lovely people but there wasn’t any structure or managerial input or investment which was a pity. Due to the numbers in high season the pools were very dirty, clumps of hair and plasters floating around and a murky look to it. My son enjoyed the pool because it never went over his head which was great but he ended up with an ear infection from either the pool or the lake half way through so we weren’t able to use it. The patio area outside our bungalow was dusty and had little grass cover, and there were a few broken tiles which could have been dangerous for younger kids. Other bungalows had lovely grassy and sunny areas so I think we were just unlucky. Long queues for check in. Overall a nice camp and pools are fab if you want to stay by the pool but if you want a good kids club I would avoid.

Stayed in the mobile home for a week, got checked in quick with friendly staff, great location right on lake Garda, accommodation was clean, our toaster wasn’t working and it was replaced within an hour of telling staff, the pools were spotless and didn’t have to wait on sun loungers as the people leaving the pool gave us theirs, we got out of the takeaway a few times and it was lovely, there’s a que for the supermarket in the mornings but maybe 5 minutes at most, great bakery inside and good selection of food & drink on the shelves, overall a very enjoyable holiday with plenty to do with swimming pools, lakes, kids club, play parks and will definitely be back.
