„The room was well-equipped, clean, and comfortable. The staff couldn't speak English, but we managed to communicate using a translation app, and they were very kind. There were issues with the facilities. Who would think the refrigerator switch is on the wall? It turned off every time we left, making the refrigerator pointless. Also, the air conditioner was broken and didn't blow warm air. Fortunately, they brought us a fan heater, so we managed to stay warm.”

„Stayed in this hotel again after the combo tickets ended. Nice hotel and friendly staff. Could see Qinwang Palace and Dream Valley from the room. The non-smoking room was clean and spacious. Breakfast buffet was delicious, and had many varieties including some western food. Unlimited water bottles for guests. I also tried their free suan-mei soup which was very tasty. Laundry facility included a washer, a washer/dryer combo and space for hanging dry clothes. It took about 3 hours to dry clothes in the dryer.”

„Chengyi hotel is a nice and hip hotel at Hengdian which near by 玖号片場 and other sightseeing places, like Ming Qin Palace, etc. The staff are nice and helpful (esp thanks to 小王 at the night shift). Similar to other new hotels in cn, they have the delivery robot when you ordered something from *******. The room is very comfy, towels are new & clean (which is very important for me as a lazy traveler). They have simple amenities provided. and with the welcome fruit platter! Thanks for having me and I had a great time in Hengdian this weekend.”

„入住的是廣州街店的花庭房，酒店在廣州街香港街裏有很多店，散落在景區各個角落，各種房型。這兒衹介紹花庭房。花庭房型在景區最裡麪，步行到入口大約八分鐘（也可叫接駁車免費接送）。花庭房區域裏有很多古庭院建築，每座建築裏有幾個房間，有一樓的，二樓的。一般一樓的面積略大，有庭院。二樓的面積稍小，有陽台。廣州街香港街下午一點開園，晚九點閉園。住在裏面的則可以享受24小時進出，不需要這個景區的門票（如要去其它景區，則需要購買聯票，199元一張）。這裏閉園的時候，不論上午還是晚上，遊蕩在空盪盪的街道里，那感覺，驚悚嗨皮**。。一股腦兒竄出，非常奇特。。。房價因淡旺季有高有底，如果淡季非週末來，住在這裏那性價比一百顆星！房間乾淨有特色，服務完美無挑剔！早餐豐富應有都有。綜合評價五顆星滿分！極度推薦。”

„The house keeping Xiao xiao and team is very responsive. Very prompt to answer questions and arrangements such as buggy to pickup and send to and fro from the room to the entrance. The setup is a reconstruction of the colonial treaty port era of the mid-19th to early 20th century, with a focus on the 1920s and 1930s. If you fancy this vintage experience, it's a lovely time spent. I love every single detail like the antique phone, Art Nouveau and shabby chic style room decor. It is an experience of time travel back to the era and the room package includes a costume for a day for full immersion. The staff like the cleaners and the street food vendors were so friendly and polite. My best experience throughout the stay 🩷🫶 Thank you.”

„This is my first trip and first stay at Tourism Hotel Building 2 (reception on Level 2 of Building 2). I arrived after midnight due to significant flight delay and had to call reception. I was promptly attended to despite waking up the person. Breakfast spread has good variety (close at 9am). On check out day, they agreed to extend my checkout to 2pm so I was able to visit Yuanmingyuan for 2-3 hours before I leave. Location wise is good - street food stalls 2min away, supermarket 2 doors away, small eateries and cafes nearby and about 10min taxi ride to MingQing Palaces, Emperor Qin Palace, Qingming Shanghetu and Guangzhou and HK Streets sites.”

„Hotel room is very clean and well maintained. All items are in good working order. Very comfortable stay. Staff at counter and at entrance is helpful and nice. However in f&b section for breakfast, the staff service attitude could be better. The staff cooking noodles gave my noodles to other customers and didn't even apologise after I asked her where's mine. She just said plainly she will cook again. The main hall area has no seats for guests to sit while waiting for taxi or friends. Only 3 seats at the side of the hotel counter. Its really inconvenient for guests who are waiting for friends or taxi. The hotel needs to place more seats for guests at the main hall area.”

„Pro: 1. Early check in 2. Robot help to deliver orders to room, so we not need to go lobby to collect the delivery. Very convenient 👍. 3. Friendly reception Con: 1. Hotel’s renovation look abit old/ aged although advertised it is 4 star selected hotels in Hengdian world studio. Remark: We booked family room which included two adult tickets and one child ticket. Refer to online comments, people said can top up money to change the child ticket to adult ticket, but we were unable to do it.”

„We booked a hotel near the Hengdian World Studios facilities to have an easy access to the scenic areas. This hotel was 5 minutes away from the Palace of Emperor Qin, which already made it an excellent choice, but THE HOTEL ITSELF IS SO BEAUTIFUL!! It has a lot of old-style decoration, the room was wide and had little carvings in the ceiling wooden beams... they were re-arranging the courtyard, we think they may want to plant something? The room was big, the beds very comfortable (very firm and VERY big), the shower was nigh perfect. We used the floor heating system, but there was also available the A/C from the ceiling if we preferred. They gave us breakfast every day, freshly made, the eggs in particular were super fresh. Delicious and abundant! Extra praise to the cook, she was very nice even with the language barrier. About that, we spoke zero Chinese, so we used translation apps all day long. All the staff was very, very kind and made great efforts to be understood. We appreciated that immensely! If we ever go back to Hengdian (hopefully!!), we certainly will go back to this hotel.”

„We chose this hotel because of its non-smoking policy [a lot of hotels in this town allow guests to smoke in the room]. We spent one day in a suite and one day in a 2-bed ”mountain view” room [view from our windows in the pictures] The 2-bed room was huge, 120cm beds, no fridge. The suite seemed bigger in the photos, nice, with a fridge and very big bathroom. Both rooms with A.C., both equipped with a universal charger, a tea set with 2 bottles of water 0,5l each, both with intelligent Xiao Du light, courtains, tv and wc system, windows equipped with mosquito nets. ”Mountain view” and some photos suggest 'Zen' style high end neighbourhood, but in reality it is a very, very regular chinese neighbourhood. There is only chinese name on the hotel building I think. We arrived one hour before the check-in time and get the room without any problem. The young female receptionist was extremely helpful and polite, used the translator app to communicate. She helped us to buy the right tickets and a hotel menager accompanied us to the nearest ticket office. The hotel is very close to the Qin palace and Dream Valley. There are 2 tourist bus lines (A and B) connecting most of the scenic spots, every 30 min, a ticket costs 2 r.m.b. one can pay in cash in the bus, this bus service stops about 4.30 p.m. Apple maps app works OK, google maps app does not work in China. We took a taxi from Yiwu station (1 hour) to get to the hotel, 170 r.m.b. and about 43 km one way if one goes the shortest way or 220 r.m.b. and about 63 km via highway, a taxi from Qingming palace costs about 20 r.m.b. There is an annual ticket for 898 r.m.b., this ticket is for one adult plus one child or just one adult - all 13 scenic spots included [Dream Valley excluded], one can enter each scenic spot only once a day. I think 2 scenic spots in one day is a max,  maybe 3 because most of the spots closes about 4.30 p.m., only one or two are closing about 8 p.m. There is no printed ticket only passport data in their system so you enter by showing the passport.The Hengdian Studios I think are not prepared for foreign tourists at all. Their printed map is very small, hard to read, does not show enter gates or ticket offices, their website is not helping, in theory there is an English version but with very little information, the chinese website is better but still not very helpful, there is no list of all 13 scenic spots or the opening hours, only information about the major ones.”
