Beautiful hotel with good beautiful beach and lots of restaurants really recommend from Uk🇬🇧

Jedzenie jest okropne, a woda w basenach (i na pobliskich plażach) jest lodowata, ale bardzo podobał nam się nasz pobyt w Monte Casa Spa & Welless Resort. Jak widać na mapie lokalizacji na stronie hotelu, hotel znajduje się w świetnej lokalizacji, blisko plaż, szlaku turystycznego, targu rolnego, dobrze zaopatrzonego supermarketu VOLI, promenady ze sklepami i restauracjami oraz zamku Kastio. A przyjazny personel hotelu robił wszystko, aby natychmiast spełnić nasze liczne żądania - od recepcjonisty, który na naszą prośbę przydzielił sąsiednie pokoje nam i naszym znajomym, po dział sprzątania, który przyniósł nam dodatkowe koce i kuchnię personel, który znalazł dla nas wykałaczki.

I will give you a balanced and honest review. The hotel is situated in a great spot overlooking the bay of Petrovac and close to the beach, lots of restaurants and bars. We booked this through EasyJet holidays as a package on bed and breakfast. One of the main reasons for choosing this hotel was that it was flagged up as a Spa & Wellness Hotel. Unfortunately, the indoor pool was empty and obviously could not be used all week. This was very disappointing and not what we paid for, £1,043.92, for one standard twin room (including flights and transfers in October). The breakfast was good most mornings in terms of quality, variety, and quantity. However, on the last two days, they had removed the toasting machine completely. Also, the tables were not cleared and cleaned properly between different guests using them. The hotel is definitely understaffed and the dining room cannot cope when the hotel is busy. For example, 80 guests from the Netherlands arrived on day 4 or 5 and there was a shortage of tables and some food items at breakfast time. The pool area is small but pleasant and there are sunbeds. Sun worshippers should note that this area is in the shade after about 12:30 p.m. (at this time of the year). We decided to pay for beds on the beach instead for 6 out of the 7 days which added extra cost of course. Our main complaint and concern was the very poor standard of cleaning in the bedroom and bathroom. The cleaner did change the towels each day but the carpet did not appear to have been vacuumed all week. Also, the plugs in the basin and bath were both clogged up with other people's hair to such an extent that the water would not flow out until we cleared them ourselves which was disgusting and unacceptable. If we used the top shower the water came over the top of the screen and flooded the bathroom. We did complain at reception and we also mentioned it to the lovely Manageress of the Spa who said that she was embarrassed. We also told a different receptionist again as we departed the hotel. I will forward this review to EasyJet Holidays as they need to know. With better staffing and quality control this could easily be a great hotel in a picturesque resort.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in , food is terrible breakfast and dinner are horrendous . There is no staff to even run the hotel, one night due to no staff we were sent to there outside restaurant for dinner as the hotel bar and restaurant were closed as they had no staff , the food at the restaurant we were sent to was also terrible as we had paid for half board I found this disgusting service . The hotel cleaners did nothing except change the towels and replenish the toilet roll .The beds are also very uncomfortable . I don’t think jet 2 should have this hotel as it’s more like a 2 star if that . Very very dissatisfied with everything considering the amount we had pain , never again .

There was no hot water in the shower during our 3 days stay. We were told on the first day there was a problem, however, it wasn’t taken care of. The breakfast was great and the rooms were spacious.

We arrived late at night, the super helpful security guard on duty helped us to our room and fixed a sticking lock on the patio doors. We were delighted that the hotel had kindly accommodated us to a pre requested room. It was lovely and clean, very spacious with a huge patio. We were a little surprised not to have the advertised mini bar, no cups or glasses to make hot drinks, this wasn’t an issue however as we just used some from breakfast. Breakfast was lovely lots of choice. The staff work super hard, are attentive however not overtly friendly, I put this down to a cultural difference and that’s fine - we are in their country after all - Petrovac is truly stunning and very charming and quaint - we would stay at Monte Casa again and thank you to all the hard working staff!

We booked two twins.. 4 best friends.. what we got was a twin and a double.. we went to reception to ask for a twin not double as we asked for to be told by a very rude receptionist that they were fully booked and it was not possible but they would add a single bed to our room.. we accepted this even though it was not what we booked.. our room was basic to say the least.. the kitchen area had a kettle but no cups, cutlery or plates.. our balcony was the roof!!! There was mess and rubbish piled up next to our alledged roof balcony.. dead insects and mess outside.. The bar closed at 10pm.. the pool was tiny and dirty.. the good point was that its a short walk down the stairs to the prom.. but beware the gates are locked at 10pm and then you walk round.. but nobody tells u this when u arrive.. would visit Monte***** again but not this hotel.. the receptionist is not welcoming or nice!! Very rude!!

Really enjoyed our stay at the Monte Casa. Great location - near the beach and restaurants, but still set back. Spa facilities very good, including massage and indoor pool. Pool was a good size, but a little cold. Sufficient number of sun beds, but had to be relatively quick to get best spot. The sun goes behind the hotel in the afternoon. Family room was well equipped and comfortable. Huge bed. Great views of the bay if you get a sea-view room. Breakfast was huge and varied. Loved the range of options you could have. Staff were attentive and helpful. We ate 2-3 times at the Ambassador restaurant - the a la carte restaurant for the hotel - great location right on the sea front, one of of the best in Petrovac, good food (lots of fish) and really friendly staff.

Well located with very nice staff. I stayed in 2 different rooms and they were both clean and spacious even though my second one was a single bedroom. The hotel is next to the beach and all the restaurants and shops. It’s nested by the hill so it’s quiet.
