Villa Louise Hue Beach Boutique Hotel

Just returned from our first visit to Villa Louise Hue. Excellent, charming right-on-the-beach location with very helpful staff. Perfect place for a relaxing beach holiday plus they have a nice outdoor & a nice indoor pool. Breakfast from the a la carte menu is excellent (no buffet); lunch & dinner also very good at both the hotel restaurant & the beach bar which is run by Villa Louise. The sites in Hue town (Imperial City, Citadel, temples...) @30 minutes by taxi; airport is 40 minutes away. Wonderful stay.

The first point was this place is extremely hard to find. There are no signs off the main road and it’s not correct on Google so our taxis kept getting lost. The first time we arrived we ended up walking 20 mins on the beach with our luggage. The next point is you have to check in at the front desk where the cars enter which is very dated and far away. It looked so bad we thought we were at the wrong resort, this arrival experience caused us stress and was not a good start. The customer service was great, the food was incredible so this made up for the other points. The worst part is we paid a lot of money to use their laundry service and unfortunately everything shrunk. I’m guessing they were washed on 60 degrees. This was annoying as we have limited clothing with us and some of these items were vintage and had sentimental value.

We only visited the beach and didn't stay in the hotel. This is the most beautiful beach in Vietnam... Quiet, cozy, no garbage and nice food. We've already visited Villa Louise in 2016, 2018 and now in 2022 again. Because of the pandemic a lot of locations are closed now or didn't invest money in the last years. But here you can definitely see that they always want to improve. The beach at Villa Louise is our favorite place in Vietnam!

A wonderful escape destination. We were upgraded into a wonderful villa overlooking the sea. With only a portion of the rooms open again it was quiet and very peaceful at the resort. Service was wonderful as were the meals we had. The resort is quite isolated so the options are to travel or to eat in which we chose without disappointment. Staff very helpful and friendly. Very nice resort, I love the design of the resort, a harmonious beauty between Vietnamese traditional features and the romantic style of French architecture. This is a great place to get away for weekend. We came to this place in a rainy day and couldn't enjoy the beach much but we enjoyed the resort with nice swiming pools. I love the real croissants made by French chef. The staff and owner are very friendly. I recommended this place for my friends and love to come back in sunny days

We spent a week end at Villa Louise near Hue. Wonderful 2 days with cultural activities and beach chill at the same time! Michel the owner is great and really helpful. The resort is located directly over the beach... Food is delicious....Everything was perfect. Second time for us being there....For sure we will come again! And so easy to come from HCMC (60 mn flight + easy transfer to the hotel and you are at Paradise...

Un endroit magique, tout près de Hue au bord de la mer dans un parc luxuriant. La Villa Louise est un lieu unique avec un charme très particulier. Les villas réparties dans le parc ont une architecture et un mobilier inspirés par l'artisanat traditionnel vietnamien, et sont très confortables avec douche extérieure, jacuzzi, terrasse face à la mer et grand lit confortable. Le bâtiment principal où se trouve le restaurant a deux piscines une extérieure et une intérieure. la vaste plage est à deux pas et il y a un beach bar sympathique où on peut boire et manger. Si vous visitez Hue et que vous voulez en même temps profiter de la mer dans un cadre original, c'est l'endroit parfait.

L'hôtel est au bord de la plage, isolé. La plage est grande et agréable mais elle n'a rien d'une plage tropicale, les grandes vagues lui donnent un air océanique et rendent la baignade compliquée. Un restaurant de plage (appartenant à l'hôtel) propose des repas ou snacks meilleurs marché que l'élégant restaurant de la Villa Louise, mais ce dernier offre une vue sur la plage et est attenant à la jolie piscine. Le prix m'a semblé excessif si l'on prend en compte la vétusté des chambres qui ont un style "bungalow" mais qui sont remplies de grenouilles et insectes et qui ont manifestement besoin d'une importante rénovation.

Tout est de bon goût - cf la piscine, superbe. Admirablement placé en bord de mer, sur une plage PROPRE ( hélas pas si fréquent au Vietnam) Nous avons discuté un peu avec Michel, le propriétaire, charmant, tout comme son personnel d'ailleurs. Excellent rapport qualité-prix. Bref, le lieu idéal pour se reposer après les visites frénétiques de Hué.
