December 29 to Jan 3. Price more than double for holiday. Two Star is a generous rating. Issues: Check in, although prepaid, took almost 30 minutes. Staff at desk very disorganized. This was after waiting more than 30 minutes to get to check in counter as they had even more difficulty checking in previous patron. No smiles or apologies for the wait. There was also an unexpected cash deposit of 2000 baht required at checkin in with no clear explanation for it even when requested. No mini. bar in room to incur charges. Was simply told to bring the receipt at checkout to get ther money back. In the room the key card socket for turning on AC and lights was hanging off the wall by just wires. There were no tissues provided in the room. We were only provided with one very small, single person, bar of soap and one each of single person shampoo and body wash for two people each day There was no roller in the toilet paper holder so toilet paper just sat on back of the toilet. Toilet ran incessantly so difficulty flushing. Several times no hot water in shower. Room was very dated Arranged for cleaning at two PM one day and returned at 4 to it not being done. Phone did not work so had to walk downstair to front desk which was in building across the alley to report this. There is no lift. When cleaning done I noted no bar soap was left. I pointed this out and the initial response was”don’t have” with an expression like they expected me to accept that. I said they needed to go find some and they did. Location very far from downtown and back. It was a 200 baht cab rid each way. If you have a choice, I recommend finding another place to stay.
