Il Mastio di Spedaletto

This was a superb experience. I’ll start with the positives which are too many! Our suite (bedroom, living room, a small kitchen and two bathrooms) was impeccably clean and beautiful. We were supplied with every item one could think of. The breakfast was plentiful, and if you thought of a particular dish, Christina (who I wanted to take home with me) would make it with a smile. The variety of cakes was astounding. Since we’re an elderly couple the next comment wouldn’t be important to many readers. There are stairs, sometimes uneven and can be slippery when it rains. Christina insisted on helping with our luggage, and I don’t know what we would’ve done without her help. You have to have a car there (parking is free), and the fact that there’s no restaurant serving dinner there, necessitates driving. Not a problem for us, but should be noted. We would love to be back.

We stayed two nights in this beautiful building from the 12 th century. The room was wonderful and very big, with high ceilings and an enormous bed, with all the furniture perfectly fitted for these surroundings. We felt like a king and queen, so luxurious was the room. In the bathroom there was a ‘rain’ shower and a vast array of beautiful bath products. But the best of all was the breakfast. We’ve travelled extensively but what the wonderful signora every morning made fresh to order was incredible. Fresh eggs every which way you choose, fresh pineapple, melon with prosciutto, freshly cut meats and cheeses and even fresh bruscheta. On top of all this, the very kind signora had made many different cakes, cookies and pies, each one very tasty. For us, this place earns a 10 out of 10, a truly unforgettable experience!!!!

It was magical to be in a castle from 1200 with all the modern conveniences and comforts! The Breakfast was divine with many choices including gluten free! And freshly prepared bruschetta, eggs and cappuccino….. And we conveniently visited many Medieval Hill town Palaces and Fortresses by car.

This place is a 10, can say enough about this Tuscan B&B. Sleep in a castle in the heart if val d’orcia. Great service, great location, perfect rooms. They even had a car charger available for my Tesla.

It was too expensive considering the whole services and facilities of the hotel.

Il s’agit du plus bel et plus agréable endroit où nous avons séjourné en Toscane. Les chambres sont des cocons, le personnel est vraiment aux petits soins avec les clients. Le restaurant attenant au lieu est également de très bonne facture.

È molto difficile trovare su Tripadvisor strutture che abbiano solo recensioni "eccellente". Questa merita questo giudizio in pieno e anzi bisognerebbe aggiungere una stella in più. Tutto è perfetto. Di meglio non potrebbe essere. La location è situata in posizione strategica per visitare la Val d'Orcia. Le stanze sono ampie e arredate benissimo e con gran gusto. Il silenzio e la tranquillità sono garantite. La pulizia è di primo ordine. Ho lasciato per ultimo il meglio del meglio: la colazione. Si trova di tutto dal dolce al salato con torte preparate con grande cura direttamente da Cristina che cura anche la gestione di questa impareggiabile struttura. Proprio Cristina, con la sua gentilezza e disponibilità è il punto di riferimento per tutto ciò che può interessare compreso le informazioni sui luoghi da visitare.

Che piacere soggiornare in questo Mastio! Une vera residenza storica, ben conservata e curata. Camera per 4 assolutamente perfetta, con 2 bagni e tutto il necessario per un soggiorno perfetto. Per non parlare poi di Cristina, disponibile e di buon consiglio per qualsiasi cosa e soprattutto la colazione con torte fatte in casa, uova, bruschette al pomodoro… il tutto degno di un grand hôtel. Grazie a lei per aver reso il nostro soggiorno in Toscana semplicemente perfetto!

Prenotato per caso vedendo alcune immagini belle immagini, si è rivelato una splendida perla , in un territorio fantastico. Il piccolo B&B( ha solo tre camere ed un appartamento) è locato in un Mastio medievale lungo la via Franchigena . Il complesso è composto da un”castelletto “ e da alcune costruzioni adiacenti che formano un piccolissimo borgo, in cui trovano ospitalità alcune attività. La famiglia che gestisce il “Mastio di Spedaletto “ lo ha ristrutturato e curato nei minimi particolari. Le 3 camere ed l’appartamento sono arredate in maniera splendida e finemente curate. La colazione è servita in una grande cucina . Si possono scegliere varie torte casalinghe, frutta, dolcetti e gli immancabili salumi e formaggi locali. Splendida la giovane proprietaria, che con il resto della famiglia ci ha fatto sentire come se fossimo a casa fra amici. La struttura è in a pochi chilometri da Pienza è in posizione perfetta per visitare il centro sud della Toscana. Da provare
