Barbi delivered more than expected. A fantastic place in a fabulous romantic landscape. With views of the beautiful Val d'Orcia and Pienza. The apartment was very well equipped and the bed very comfortable. The owner Vilmo Barbi was very nice and gave us a lot of useful information. We can definitely recommend this place. The only thing that was a bit negative was that several restaurants were closed. They closed for about 2 weeks in November.

This Agriturismo is situated around 15min from Pienza. We stayed at the 2 bedrooms apartment which is very spacious for 4 of us. The owner, Mr Vilmo Barbi gave us wine and lots of food and milk for breakfast, we couldn't even finish them since it's too much. On the last day he showed us his other villas with the breathtaking view! The best one is the villa with terrace. I regret for not staying at that villa, though it's only have 1 bedroom but the sofabed in the living room could have another 2 person, and the living room is so spacious also. We will definitely come back later! Val d'orcia is still very beautiful during winter time, weather was just perfect, not too cold, around 10-15C. We enjoyed every second we stayed there.

Fantastic location a short drive away from places like Pienza, Monticchiello, and Montepulciano. Accommodations are spacious and necessities are provided. Breathtaking view of the rolling Tuscan countryside with Pienza cresting in the horizon. Vilmo is a very welcoming host; he'll make you feel comfortable and at home. He provides excellent recommendations of what to see in the surrounding area, as well as some history of the region. Already looking forward to returning.

We slept in the appartment attached to the owner house. It is very very old-fashioned. The furniture is basic, without charm. There is no dishwasher. The wifi is very weak. So is the the electrical network : fuses have blown when we used the washing machine. And it is VERY NOISY. You can hear all the noises from the owner house. And he is noisy. He decided for instance to run a washing machine at 23:30... One more point : the "tuscany breakfast" is a joke. Only industrial products (I join a photo). At last, the owner is not really friendly. He doesn't seem to care about the well-being of his customers. We wanted to leave but we paid before meeting him. We paid 90 euros by night, and it's really not worth the money

We stayed for the weekend for a wedding but would definitely be returning for a full holiday in the future if we get the opportunity. The accommodation was perfect for us, with cooking facilities in the apartment and shops nearby for food. Plenty of food for breakfast was also provided for us. Set on a beautiful farm the location is also ideal for a relaxing time away. Highly recommended.

Se mi chiedessero cosa è per me la bellezza, sicuramente direi Agriturismo Barbi. Posto speciale con una vista mozzafiato sulle colline della Val D’Orcia. In questo magnifico posto puoi godere di tramonti spettacolari, pace assoluta ed a volte pure in compagnia di caprioli. L’host Vilmo, è una persona davvero cordiale con il quale abbiamo avuto il piacere di passare alcuni momenti della nostra vacanza. Consiglio vivamente questo agriturismo! Torneremo sicuramente

Très bel endroit. La vue est à couper le souffle sur le val d orcia. Même si la déco est rustique il y tout ce qu il faut au niveau commodité ( cuisine bien équipée, lave linge) . Panier du petit déjeuner gargantuesque. Accueil très sympathique et très serviable

Val d orcia nel cuore ..bellissimi giorni in val d orcia.. casina accogliente e nel verde e tranquillità nella campagna ... distese immense e ogni tanto qualche casolare.. sembrava di vivere in un film medioevale ..vilmo gentilissimo e disponibile..

Un posto meraviglioso con una vista mozzafiato sulla Val d'Orcia. Vilmo il proprietario è stato gentilissimo e sempre molto disponibile, ci siamo sentiti a casa. Grazie ancora per questo soggiorno e per la vostra simpatia! Speriamo di poter tornare molto presto in questa struttura.
