The hotel is well located on the Vah River. It is easy to walk to many restaurants and shops as well as along the river. The hotel common areas and rooms are in good condition, and the staff is very helpful. Parking can be an issue if you are there during a busy time. The buffet breakfast had multiple hot and cold items for a nice start to the day. I had a river view room, which provided a lovely view.

We visited the hotel in April 2023. The facility is presented as 4*, which it certainly does not correspond to! The premises of the hotel are very old, both the hotel and the equipment in the room. The beds are hard and uncomfortable. The room was not cleaned even once during the stay. No one even offered to change towels. Wellness is rather a mockery, from the shared shower with a strange curtain, to the "rest" zone and the overchlorinated pool. We had a paid stay with breakfast, where the choice was really bad. The only plus is the location in the city center. We will definitely not return to this hotel.

The location of the hotel is good. There is not smiling stuff, nobody say hello, we are glad that you arrived. In Slovakia the receptionists, the waiters and waitresses are mainly unfriendly. In Magnolia we have had two terrible experience. One was the wellness. It is written that the facility is open from 14: 00 till 21:00. The tall blond lady start to close the facility at 20: 25. She closes the camp-chairs, opens the doors of the saunas. When I ask what happens: she shout on me: you not have bought sauna ticket (we have had full facility on wellness) "you don' t have anything' shouted. I think that this style and attitude is inacceptabel even on a market place not in a 4* hotel. The other terrible event was when we accepted a pocket from abroad via GLS. We could follow the route of the pocket on internet. One receptioniest has taken over the pocket. We asked: where is the pocket: the receptionist said: there is not pocket. We have shown the name of the person who has taken over the pocket. we hav got in this way the pocket. In addition the photos of the Hotel are not exact.

Excellent hotel. Getting better and better.i have known this hotel and used it for years since 2004. It has improved drastically and turned into a flagship in Piestany. The reception staff & the restaurant/bar people are just wonderful professionals. I cannot fault any. The hotel has a wellness center on the first floor run by a private firm. I used it then and I used it now. That's the only dark point. It was not good then and it has not improved either, lack of proper management management I suppose. But all in All, Hotel Magnolia hits it for me.

The best thing in the hotel was the Reception staff - they were very friendly, helpful and service-oriented.
The room was old and very simply furnished.
The breakfast was poor than my expectation.
Good location- The hotel is close by walk to pedestrian street with many restaurants and ice cream shops.

Hotel senza pretese, pulito, arredo da svecchiare, colazione migliorabile. La stanza era dotata di tutti i confort, anche se molto basic! Ho anche cenato in hotel: il menu é ricco ma lo standard é quello slovacco. Per un pernotto singolo, non é malvagio.

Muy bien ubicado. Decoración algo anticuada, ducha abierta, no me gustó.
Habitación confortable, buen colchón. Almohadas muy bajas.
En resumen estuvimos a gusto.
