Frida Village

3rd visit to these family apartments and it ticks all the boxes for a great stay We had a one bedroom apartment and could not fault it with an abundance of clean towels & clean sheets during our two week stay The pool bar also ticks all the boxes for a drink or snack during the day with the snacks made freshly. There is a lot of returning customers so we are not alone in our views

We went here in August all the staff very friendly bins emptied every day towels changed every other day the food was nice and reasonably priced the pool was nice and clean a good location 5 min walk to the bars and restaurants and a supermarket across the road any issues with your room sorted straight away all the guests were very friendly all in all we had a fantastic holiday would like to thank everyone at the frida for making us welcome hope to see you all again soon

Just returned from 10 days here, our second stay. It was lovely being back. It’s so nice when you arrive and greeted with a smile. Had breakfast one day which was really nice and lunch on one occasion, again very nice. Spent more time this year round pool before heading out, it was lovely and peaceful and always able to get a sunbed. Orla and Manos are lovely hosts, always really friendly. Room was lovely with an amazing shower (room 303 by the pool). Really comfy beds, I think these were new mattress’. A single bed was also in the room which was equally comfy to just leg out on to cool down and sofa really comfy. The room is cool and doesn’t get sun but still needed air con as the temperatures were in the 30s and high 20s on a night. During the day, a dip in the pool was welcoming; pool was very clean as were all the grounds. Would definitely recommend a stay at Frida.

My friend and I stayed for a week and had a 1 bedroom apartment each. I was in 116 which had a nice private patio area and sea view in the distance. Air con was very good (55 euros for the week) but it is only in the bedroom. Manolis showed us to our rooms and helped with luggage. Rooms were clean and spacious. Cleaned regularly. We preferred thr smaller, quieter pool at the front of the hotel. Thr music (radio) was too loud for us around the main pool which was a shame. Always managed to get a sunbed. Bookshelf to borrow books from. Excellent location. Small supermarket opposite and taverna next door. 5 minutes uphill to village. 20 minutes walk down hill to Hersonisos and 8 - 10 euros for a taxi back. We walked to Old Hersonisos village (20 minutes) which is lovely. 10 euros back in a taxi. Enjoyed our stay.

From the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome. We were shown our room (which is unusual but great) and shown how everything worked. Connor even carried one of my suitcases up for me, much appreciated after a long day. The rooms are nice everything you need with lovely views from balcony. The pool areas are fabulous with amazing views over the sea and mountains. The pool bar serves food and drinks which were very nice. Nearby villages are really lovely with plenty of places to eat and lovely people to meet. Manos, Connor and Orla go out of their way to make you welcome and happy. When they didn’t have something to make a drink I wanted it was bought from the local shop so I could have it. Connor even had a game of pool with me and my children and bought them an ice cream. My daughter was asked to give one to granny Frida who was a lovely lady and my daughter really enjoyed meeting her. It’s a beautiful place but it’s the people there that make it special. Thank you! My husband, my son and myself spent 2 weeks here for the first time and I can see why many people return. The rooms were of a good size and we had an upstairs apartment with excellent views over the sea. Both pools were lovely and we spent time in both as well as going down to the sea for a few days. The owners were absolutely amazing with us. We’d had a traumatic 2 weeks before coming and I’d forgotten one lot of my pills and miscounted my sons. On both occasions Manos phoned the pharmacist and sorted this out for us. The first time he went himself to get them and the second time Connor took my husband down on his bike. The kindness and help we were shown was outstanding. I had already booked to go to Stalis next year otherwise I would definitely return. We will look forward to coming the following year, hopefully.

Just returned home from two weeks at the frida apartments and I can honestly say wow what a fabulous time we had, met the most amazing people the staff which are only a few were amazing from the cleaners to the owners and of course Connor 👍, manos Orla you are exceptional hard working people you should be proud of what you do, will go out of the way to help anyone thank you so much 🫶🫶 love from Alison and dai Johnny Vegas xx

Our family of 5 visited the Frida apartments For 10 nights at the end of July here is some general information on the Frida . Our flight got delayed but were met on arrival by Conor at 23:30 where we got a wonderful welcome and shown are rooms without haste . Our rooms were spacious and very clean we had one 3 bed and a 2 bed apartment next to each other . The rooms were equipped with cooking facilities , tv ,air con and great shower facilities. Outside there’s a beautiful clean pool looked after daily by manus it’s surrounded by lots of sun beds on clean tiles there’s also a second smaller pool in the facility . The pool bar has seating all around it , a pool table and a large covered sitting area for bar food and 2 TVs for sports . Now for the day to day stuff . In the facility working the pool bar was a lovely lady called orlaith who pandered to all our drink and food orders always with a smile and was on hand for information about restaurants , beeches and the best way to get places . Manus was always around to help at reception if needed Nothing was to much for him to do a gentleman . The Food was what you want at the pool The usual things like Pizza , chips ,club sandwiches ,baguettes and fry ups and lots more to be fair . Evening bar is Conors domaine he loves making the cocktails and pouring the beers Conor is a wealth of information on where to go and where you may like . There was many a nights crack around the bar with Conors sense of humour making all around him at ease . There was a wonderful atmosphere with lots of friends made The apartments are a short walk around 3 minutes to the town’s bar and restaurants or a 10 minutes walk to the beach ***** Taxis are ready available for longer trips which there happy to do for you These apartments are run wonderfully and are nice and peaceful and a really safe place with the owners living on the grounds We can’t wait to go again a real family friendly place with a great family running it .

Just back from 11 nights. Could not fault the place. Typical 2 or 3 star Greek accommodation, room had everything needed for a nice stay., beds comfortable enough and aircon kept apartment nice and cool. Two lovely pools, bar and a pool table whick kept my son busy. Manos and Orla who run it are lovely couple, Connor the barman was life and soul of the party. Would love to return, missing it already after getting home earlier today!
