We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Esthisis suites. The owner was so friendly and welcoming and the accommodation was first class. Very spacious and with beautiful views of the sea and mountains. The suites contained everything you needed for a great holiday and were very clean. The pool area was lovely and there were always sun beds available. Located up a small hill about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Platanias, the suites have a number of tavernas very close by. We will definitely return.

We returned after our first visit in 2019. We were welcomed as good friends and Efi was as charming, kind and helpful as ever. The appar**ent, with its lovely views, was first class, cleaned perfectly on a daily basis by Lola, a lovely Albanian lady. On many occasions, we had the pool to ourselves, which is also kept very clean. There are numerous super restaurants in the old part of Platanias, where Esthisis is situated. Cretan customer service continues to be first class with a genuine interest shown in customers. The lower town area is also good, with plenty of shops of all types and a bus service to Chania. The beach contains plenty of tavernas and two loungers can be acquired for the day at 7 Euro for 2. We also enjoyed another visit on the Little Fun Train and a new experience on the Hop on Hop Off Bus in Chania. The Esthisis Suites are something special and continue to demonstrate Cretan Customer Service at its best. Efi and her team are to be applauded.

We spent 2 weeks in a one bedroom apar**ents on the upper terrace (301, I think), it was very well equipped, clean, comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was OK but could do with renovating. There are a few restaurants close to the apar**ents and lots more down the hill in the main part of Platanias.

Just spent 2 weeks with my family here. Wonderful apar**ents in a perfect location. Spotless rooms which have all you need in. Very tidy pool and plenty of beds. Had the pool to ourselves most of the time. Staff are very helpful and will sort out anything you need. Simply perfect for a family vacation!

This place is a gem. Perfect destination for families as the suite had lots of space to relax unlike a normal hotel room. The pool was beautiful and the room had a lovely patio that we sat on in the mornings. Kitchen allowed for some breakfast items to be kept for lazy morning starts. The property is easily walkable into town in 5 minutes, which we preferred to being right in town as it would be much noisier - Esthisis was very peaceful and quiet.

This accommodation is the best self catering apar**ent I have stayed in. We were a family of 6 and the room was perfect, we had a 3 bedroom apar**ent. There are two rooms upstairs and one smaller bedroom downstairs that can be for 2 with an extra bed. The room/pool etc was spotless. the views from our apar**ent were amazing and not shown enough in the hotel photos as we could see all across the town and the sea. The hosts are extremely helpful and cannot do enough for you. The location was perfect as it is between the main ***** of bars/shops/restaurants and old Platanias. It’s about 10 mins walk from the beach, the beach is grey sand and pebbles so not the prettiest but very clean and well equipped. The sea can be rough here at times. For a calmer pretty beach visit Iguana beach near Chania which is only 3 miles.

Lovely, friendly and relaxing, second time here. Great location with easy access to the more busy parts of the town. Lots of great friendly restaurants, lovely beaches.
Good cheap transport on the local buses.
Great country walks through the orange and olive groves.

Esthisis Family, thank you so much for a beautiful stay in Crete. My partner and I highly recommend staying here, the apar**ents are spacious and extremely clean thanks to Lola! It has everything you’d want and need for an ideal holiday apar**ent. The staff are wonderful, welcoming and nothing is too much hassle for them. Efi kindly booked us an excursion to Balos Lagoon which was beautiful - a must see! The apar**ent is situated on a hill so you can see some lovely sunsets too. Thank you again for a beautiful week, we will definitely be returning ❤️

We spent a week here in July 2022. The owner greeted us and gave us all the information needed for our stay. The apar**ents are superbly appointed, large and with air conditioning in every room. We had 3 balconies overlooking the pool and sea. Its very close to the beach and shops, yet set back, slightly up the hill towards the old town. The hill isn't particularly steep and only 5 mins walk. The restaurants in the old town are incredible and all family owned. Cleaners come in every day. Rooms left spotless. Cannot fault the apar**ents, would love to return.
