We had a great time. The rooms are lovely as is the reception and pool area. The hotel is on the marina close to lots of nice restaurants. Although it’s about a 15 minute walk to the beach.

Nous avons passé un super séjour, quelques bémols des cafards dans la chambre (chose qui est "normale" à Lanzarote d'après les locaux), on nous à donc changé de chambre (en grimaçant un peu), ceci étant nous en avons trouvé d'autres dans notre nouvelle chambre avec deux lits simples au lieu d'un lit double qui était notre demande sur la réservation.
Autre bémol dans la chambre où nous étions on entendait beaucoup les tirages de chaises ou autre comme un déménagement chaque soir et le matin le réveil des dames de ménage (que je respecte pour le travail ingrat qu'elles font) qui tirent leurs chariots de nettoyage dès 7H00 du matin et qui vous réveillera forcément.
Les bons points, le petit déjeuné excellent qui est d'une grande variété, nous ne pouvons pas juger le restaurant nous ne l'avons pas essayé.
La piscine et le cadre vraiment très beau.
Petite mention à Sabine, avec qui nous avons longuement discuté, qui nous à beaucoup conseillé qui est d'une extrême gentillesse.

Amazing hotel and staff - beautiful area with lots of lovely restaurants. I’ve been going to Playa Blanca for 30 years and to the Hotel Volcan for over 20 years. It’s my happy place and my second home - it’s where my soul is at peace. I’ll be back soon!

Beautiful hotel. Good location. Clean. Good size room. Friendly staff.Easy to book excursions.
We found food not hot enough in the restaurant. Plates not always hot.
Cafe by the pool produced hot tasty meals.

Stayed for a week over Christmas and loved this hotel and everything about it. The entrance was like entering a Church, very unique and very christmassy. The Bali beds by the pool were my favourite with amazing views over the sea to the various islands and a bar provided if you wanted drinks but there were many pools throughout the hotel. Breakfast, which was included in our package, was lovely (you could add on extra items for a small cost) and went to the hotel restaurant buffet where the choice was amazing. Room was lovely and kept very clean. The hotel is also close to some lovely restaurants, bars and shops and only a short walk to the hustle of the bars in Playa Blanca. All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back again.

Property has a story to tell with its majestic Volcano structure and its inviting entrance which takes you through a mock church building with church music playing guiding you towards the reception. The property has a unique feel to it with its stone structure giving it a volcanic feel. Rooms are big and the views over the Marina are excellent. We only had B&B as plenty of excellent restaurants in the Marina. The property is over 20 years old and it does show in part, for example the lack of a walk-in shower instead offering a shower over a bath. Also property could do with a lick of paint to freshen it up. These are minor things though. It is definitely a 5 star old but lacks the "luxury" feel that would be afforded to it if it was like the Princess Yaiza hotel or the new Barcelo Playa Blanca hotel. The close proximity of the hotel to the marina is a selling point for this hotel.
