Spring Hotel Vulcano

Lovely hotel at a very good location. Modern, nicely decorated for Chris**as. Polite staff, good choice for breakfast and dinner. Chris**as dinner was something out of this world( been to many hotels, but Xmas dinner now will be hard to match). Not sure if it is always like this but we were the youngest in the hotel(43&47)during the first part of holidays and only later some other younger people joined us. The average age was 60's 😁 This hotel is not orientated to children but for us it was perfect- no screaming and shouting and our girl had fun in the pool by Herself and her cousin🤣 I wanted to book Spring Hotel Bitacora at first but now I am thinking that I made an excellent choice . That said, I might try it out next time just because of the All nclusive service Bitacora provides. It was a nice quiet stay so if you expect something like Turkey, eith music around the pool, kids disco and shows, this hotel is not for you. We were half board and 4 days we ate at the pool bar and were never disappointed. Good food and reasonable prices. We didn't book UP option because we were with the kids( it's for 18+)but if I ever come without them- I will try it out! Pros: Very good location Modern hotel Heated pools( wheelchair friendly) Good food and service Cons: No shampoo in a room! It's a first for me 🙈 The tiles in the pool (mosaic) need replacement. My daughter filled probably half of the carrier bag from the bottom saw of the pool🤣 All in all- perfect stay and believe me, I am picky. It is one of the hotels I would recommend to my friends and family

Początkowo nie zamierzałem pisać recenzji, jednak po bezpośrednim skontaktowaniu się z hotelem i ich słabej reakcji zdecydowałem, że szczenięta zostawiają recenzję, biorąc pod uwagę nasze doświadczenie. Hotel był absolutnie piękny, bardzo czysty i było widać, że personel był bardzo przyjazny. Śniadania, kolacje i baseny bardzo dobre, jednak mieliśmy problemy z naszym pokojem. Wi-Fi w naszym pokoju było wadliwe i po 2 dniach dochodzenia uznano, że nie działa. Zasugerowałem zniżkę i pobyt, ale nie było to możliwe i powiedzieli, że możemy przenieść się do podobnego pokoju, co zrobiliśmy trzeciego dnia Sprzątanie było w porządku, z pewnością więcej niż 3 gwiazdki, jak sugerują. Ręczniki do rąk zabrano, ale nie wymieniono, rolki papieru toaletowego nie wymieniono, filiżanki do kawy / herbaty i szklanki pozostawione brudne, jeśli były używane. Wysłałem e-mail do hotelu z pozytywnymi i negatywnymi opiniami, mając nadzieję, że zwykłe „przepraszam” powinno być lepsze, ale odpowiedź nie zawierała żadnego wysiłku, aby przeprosić, ale zamiast tego sugerowała duże obłożenie i zdarzają się błędy, a odbiór zawsze może pomóc. Zatrzymywałem się w wielu hotelach o różnej liczbie gwiazdek i aż do tej pory nigdy nie musiałem narzekać na sprzątanie. Czy poleciłbym ten hotel? Tak, ale biorąc pod uwagę słabą reakcję, nie jestem pewien, czy teraz wrócę.

Ideal situation close to a wide range of beaches, restaurants,bars and shops. Easy walking in both directions towards harbour or los Christianos. Excellent reception, quick check in and helpful, courteous team. Rooms modern, comfortable and housekeeping standards high. Would always book a pool view as those on hotel side had poor view from rooms. Pool area excellent. Plenty of beds (despite quite a few early morning towels going out), really peaceful, no music so listen to the birds ! Really impressed with access to all pools for guests with limited mobility. We had great option of access to balance terrace overlooking the main pool, enjoying infinity pool and complimentary beer and soft drinks. Beds do get snapped up from opening at 10.00 so be prepared to get in the 9.55 queues. With wide selection of nearby good restaurants we opted for bed and breakfast so can’t comment on dinner. Breakfast had good selection of bakery, fruits and cereal but cooked food was disappointing . It was very congested up to 10.00 . Evening entertainment was okay . Variety of tribute acts who kept us entertained. Two areas to be aware of Refurbishment of central atrium underway so be ready if your room backs onto central area to be woken Monday to Friday from 8.00 with noise from pneumatic drills and hammers….not a great start to the day. Try and get above floor four to avoid noise. Expect some noise from guests in early hours as they drunkenly return along the corridor .

We decided that having retired we would spend 4 weeks in this hotel . We had previously stayed 4 times already in 2023 and brought others to the hotel also. We splashed out and paid for 4 weeks which was just under €7k for the UP! service. All was well for the first week, half way through the second week my husband visited the bar and asked for 2 glasses of ice . You can imagine our surprise when he was asked for €2 having spent this money on a “luxury” holiday. So every day my husband went to the shop for ice out of principle. Their staff were clearly embarrassed at having to charge for ice. Half way through our second week we received a note to say that we were no longer receiving bottled water. This is despite the fact that we had already paid for bottled water in our booking . We complained about this and were told that we should BUY their containers and use the tap water stations on our floor. We took these containers to the restaurant and were refused glasses for our water as we were told these were not allowed in the restaurant. Puzzled by this we asked why. They said we had to buy water in there. So effectively what they are saying is it’s ok to be “green” in the rooms to save them money but not in the restaurant where they can charge for bottled water. A bit of double standards. The containers were €3.95 and broke twice. We complained and were basically told tough luck. This was until my husband spoke to Ariana. Then these were refunded. In the third week some building work started at the back of the UP! area. Although the noise was a bit annoying it didn’t bother us too much. Over the coming days the noise got louder and louder to the point where it was unbearable and the dust was everywhere and we both nearly skipped at the lift on the glass floors. Next they segregated off an area where the jacuzzi was to replace it. It remained cordoned off for a week with no on e working on it. We complained to reception and to Mar Alonso. The so called Hotel Manager. Asked for a meeting with her which didn’t happen. The last straw was when they started doing work to the area which served food. There was plastering going on and the food was not covered . Absolutely shocking. We complained and asked for compensation. None was received. Several other guests were equally annoyed and had written emails to no avail. So we left 5 days early. This is actually a lovely hotel with just poor poor management. We write to Ms Alonso and Jo Robinson with NO RESPONSE. So they have left us no option on this review. All it takes some times is customer service! We know several other guests have written to these directors and received no response. For anyone going there soon I suggest you ask in advance if all works are finished. Buy your own water in this luxury establishment!

The hotel is quite imposing, the entrance vestibule/atrium is very impressive. The pool view room we were in was very much standard hotel fare. Good: The room was very quiet and the blackout curtains effective. Our booking with Jet 2 included the safe and use of fridge at no cost. Filtered water dispensers on each floor a good idea. All the staff were very pleasant professional and helpful. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. Not so good: The wood panel floor in our room was badly in need of replacement. It had obviously been screwed down in several places to deal with buckling/warping. Several sharp areas of veneer were masked with gaffer tape! Although there were ample sun beds they were packed very closely together and difficult to reposition and the parasols almost impossible to move. Poor: Although the breakfast buffet was excellent the evening meal was very poor for a 4 star hotel. The items on the grill, especially meat, were very poor, often tough to the point of being inedible. Any drinks must be purchased in the restaurant, even water. I freely admit that we didn’t bother raising any issues during our stay. The hotel baggage check in offered by Jet 2 was really great and made for a stress free journey home.

definately gone down in our estimation, poor availability on bedding. Hotel had no clean pillowcases for us when requested. food choice has been greatly reduced in variety of choice & quality on offer. Had to move out of our bedroom after 1 night because the drains in the bathroom were so pungent. food choice has deteriorated from previous stays here and the entertainment has been reduced. very sad as after spending so much renovating the hotel its been amazing in the previous years. unfortunately its not the same now especially as it cost over £2600.00 for our holiday, so its definately not good value for money im afraid.

Lovely well cleaned rooms with small fridge and tea and coffee making facilities . Outlook unfortunate onto Best hotels building materials. Water coolers on most floors a welcome introduction. Would have liked a scheduled tour of ‘UP’on arrival but reception was busy most times we went to ask. Went to bar/entertainment once and manager was very abrupt, never returned. Spent my cash where was appreciated. Breakfast lovely, rooms really nice and all other staff great. Pool bar food and staff really nice. Pool towels provided. Sun beds available most days together - 4 friends. A few kids no issues - attentive parents.

Myself and my wife stayed here from 27th April to 4th May and we had a fantastic time. We arrived and were greeted with a glass of bubbly or flavored water, the check-in was smooth and simple which after a long day was appreciated. Our room was excellent with a pool view which is lit up during the night and looks fab. The rooms are well decorated and the bathroom and toilets are fine. The towels and room were cleaned daily which is great service. The little negative is the rooms don’t have a iron or ironing board but if you ask reception they will send one up to you. The hotels location is absolutely great you are two minutes from the Safari Centre, five minutes from the main bars before Veronicas and a five minute walk from the beach so this is a huge plus. The pool area is very good and clean and have numerous sunbeds so plenty of choice. The main pool was a bit cold but there are heated alternatives available if you want them. We paid to go to the UP lounge which was 50 euro a day each as they had a special offer on and it was well worth it. Everything was included including all food drink cocktails and named spirts so if you think about going do it in our opinion its worth every penny. Overall the hotel is excellent could it do with a bit TLC yes but that is probably the only negative thing I could say. We would stay here again if we came back to Las Americas and its not often we say that.
