The room is a little small but it was very clean.

We had a Difficult experience being at this hotel as the front desk didn’t speak any word of English. I find it weird and disappointing to be at such a brand hotel that employs staff that don’t speak English especially with customer facing positions. We wasted our morning on the first day trying to take information about where to go to the beach and Parking information. The receptionist was using the phone for translation. Also the attitude of receptionist was so indifferent and rude.
Also on the day of our arrival, which was late and we have a 20 months old baby with us, they told us that they have no more rooms left and transferred us to the suites building! They claimed it was an upgrade, but I am not too sure about that.
Be careful with your belongings as our daughter’s shoe and an iPhone charger disappeared from our room. We engaged with the management to find them but no luck.

check in very slow and strange. there was no other people since it was late, I think they didnt know how to do it but switched staff halfway through and didnt say anything just left me standing for a long time wondering what was happening.
no water bottle in room. room starting to look older and a little shabby. no blanket. breakfast fruit watermelon was pretty good.

The property is abandoned, the pool is broken, the amenities around the pool are dirty and unsafe. The rooms are old, the furnitures in the rooms are old and ugly. City Express is no longer the same in Playa.
