The room had a strange smell, even after the hotel staff used deodorizing spray. The air conditioner in my room wasn't cool, despite the employee being informed. Flies were present in the bathroom sink. My bedroom was right in front of the hotel, resulting in loud pub noise until 3 am.

Centrally located, requested for more pillows but they never came. Slippers are some of the best I’ve used at a hotel.

Super happy to stay in a hotel i know however the check in process was definitely slow. But the attendants were trying and very friendly and because i am in the industry i let it go.

The service was just missing. Check in took forever because the girl was on her phone. Parking was a nigh**are! No valet. They close down 5th ave so we had to park 5 blocks away. Waited 30 mins at breakfast for a cup of coffee. We knew we were in trouble when there we earplugs by the bed. Every surrounding restaurant is so incredibly loud you can’t hear yourself think. Unless you’re looking for a massive party scene I would not recommend this hotel or Playa Del Carmen in General. We were there less the 24 hours and split.

The staff was excellent. Besides the lady at the front desk who rolled her eyes at us as we asked for a specific room. They also charge us for towels after a coffee spill in the room.

Very disappointed.
The property has been having issues with the AC for some time now. The moment you walk in you can feel the heat.
Also the rooms have a funny smell (like burnt)
I had a couple nights and I left on the first one.
Didn’t get a refund by the way.
I was very exited about this hotel but won’t be coming back. Now I know.

The sullen greeting from check-in was only made worse by the ineptitude of the front desk staff, who couldn’t turn two separate reservations into one cohesive stay…my key didn’t work the second day, and they turned the AC off, because their system didn’t see I was in the room for another night - the roof too pool staff never once came over to offer help or a drink menu or food - I feel violated and ripped off - do better Since you carry the Hyatt cache - thanks for ruining my time with you

Booked a room with 4 adults, got to the room and only 3 Towels, 2 water bottles, 2 coffee , 2 robes and shampoo conditioner etc was half full
Tried calling down , no one answers , so go to reception and they did rectify quickly🙏
