Hotel oceniam jako dobry. Było kilka rzeczy, które zasługują na pochwałę, ale nie brakuje wad. W Hotelu gościli głównie Niemcy i Francuzi w wieku 50+. Znikoma ilość rodzin z małymi dziećmi. Ogólnodostępne części hotelu oraz ogród były ładne, zadbane, nowoczesne i czyste. Hotel nie jest bardzo duży i nam to odpowiadało, ponieważ dzięki temu było ciszej i spokojniej. Nie przeszkadzał nam brak muzyki przy basenach i brak zajęć rekreacyjnych prowadzonych przez animatorów. Lepiej czujemy się w takich miejscach, niż w głośnych molochach. Podczas naszego pobytu nie było żadnego problemu z leżakami przy basenach, zawsze można było coś "upolować", chociaż faktycznie niektórzy goście już z samego rana zrywali się, aby położyć ręczniki w "lepszej miejscówce". Jedzenie przeciętne. Na szczęście jak się dobrze "pokombinowało" można było skomponować sobie przyzwoity posiłek. Natomiast zdecydowanie odradzam wizyty w restauracji "a la carte" Krystal. Byliśmy rozczarowani jakością i smakiem wszystkich potraw, które oczywiście były ładnie podane, ale w ogóle nie smakowały. Pokoje przestronne, czyste z dobrze działającą klimatyzacją i regularnie uzupełnianym minibarkim. Odniosłam wrażanie, że jako Polacy zostaliśmy potraktowani "gorzej" i otrzymaliśmy słabsze pokoje jeśli chodzi o lokalizację. Pokoje jako jedne z nielicznych w całym hotelu, znajdowały się na parterze i było z widokiem na "plecy" baru basenowego. Dodatkowo jeden pokój usytuowany był zaraz przy drugim barze, który był czynnym 24h. W związku z tym, że w Gran Canarii jest spory problem z miejscami parkingowymi, plusik daje za parking (z darmowymi stacjami do ładowania elektrycznych aut). Koszt nie mały - 8 EUR za dzień. Personel bardzo grzeczny i pomocny. Wyjątkiem był jeden Pan barman, który ostro odmówił napełnienia bidonu wodą z butelki, twierdząc że muszę skorzystać z dystrybutora :( Inni barmani, bez problemu i z uśmiechem przelewali mi butelkowaną wodę. W hotelu była możliwość późniejszego wymeldowania, cena jednak zdecydowanie przesadzona - 34 EUR za godzinę. Lokalizacja taka sobie. Sklepiki i restauracje znajdujące się przy plaży słabej jakości, tandetne. Zdecydowanie przyjemnej i ładniej jest na deptaku znajdującym się po drugiej stronie wydm, koło latarni i tam polecamy spacery.

Hotel wspaniały , wyremontowany. Pokoje przestronne, czyste. Personel bardzo przyjazny. Kuchnia i napoje alkoholowe bardzo wysoki poziom. Mały minus za kawę która choć robiona z ekspresu miała smak zupełnie jak jawa zbożowa i zimne baseny ( kwiecień). Co ważne hotel to miejsce bardzo spokojne. Osoby poszukujące hałaśliwych animacji , muzyki głośnej przy basenie mogą być rozczarowane. Wieczorne rozrywki to koncert skrzypaczki, fortepianu czy saksofonu. Z tego też powodu hotel wybierany był przez osoby starsze. Choć dzieci mogą być zakwaterowane hotel ( mam wrażenie celowo) nie oferuje dla nich żadnej atrakcji poza brodzikiem zupełnie na uboczu ( poza strefą basenową) i ślizgawką czyli jak już muszą być to są ale będą się nudzić.

This was the first time I stayed at a RIU Resort and I am a RIU fan now. When entering the cool marble lobby, scented by their trademark perfume of Sandalwood and flowers which is also the scent of their own bath products, relaxation begins. The kindness and professionalism of the reservation and dining employees is extraordinary. Although I have stayed at the Ritz, the Four Seasons and other hotels, I consider these long time employees the very best I have encountered. The menu at the buffet includes many vegetarian dishes and Spanish dishes. The food is delicious and one has so many choices, the Cava and beer on tap was great to drink in the heat. It was very luxurious and fun. The hotel is extremely clean and well kept. I understand why many people have been coming for years, some for decades, staying for weeks and months. It was a real pleasure and very, very relaxing and I highly recommend this hotel and their employees who are the real treasure. Well done indeed. Thank you for making my stay a memory to cherish.

Fab hotel with great staff and two fabulous pools with lots of loungers. The all inclusive food and drink was good quality and the rooms were kept very clean by the team. This was a true calm oasis close to the parties.

This is by far the best hotel we have ever visited. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and nothing too much trouble for them. The hotel interior and grounds were immaculate with plenty of seating for food at all times. There were plenty of sunbeds even later in the day. Overall we had a marvellous stay and will definitely return.

Germans basically take over here. They don’t like other nationalities at all especially the English. They stare when we are eating, having a drink in the lobby or just talking around the pool. They are very rude and just seem to think that they own the place. This riu palace is beautiful, clean and all the staff are really friendly, aside from one of the restaurant staff who told us to put on T-shirts or shirts as we had vests on but there were lots of people wearing vests as it is very humid and the air con is not great in there. Anyway we did change but it was rude how she told us that after we had been sat down for awhile and we had already been served drinks. The whole place is ridiculously quiet there is no music played around the pool or in the restaurant and the lobby bar has some very quiet music but the daytime it’s just really quiet and doesn’t feel anything like the other riu palace’s. The food is mostly good, there seems to be a lot of the same things each day for breakfast lunch and dinner. Chips, pizza, burgers and hot dogs. I did have a burger that was very undercooked and red and cold on the middle. Most of the food is lovely though. The sunbed situation really is out of control with the Germans putting stuff on the loungers early it’s almost funny as it’s such a cliche but they really do it and it’s very unfair. I love the room and the bathroom is amazing. The room is always lovely and clean and tidy every day. I think one of the pools could have some music or something like some kind of entertainment or fun and the other one could be just quiet and relaxing. The problem with the German guests being so rude is hard to address as they are not going to change. We met a lovely Irish guy and a few other English guys who are friendly and nice. I’d be weary about coming back despite having a lovely time - it’s just the rude German attitude towards us and the staring and you can tell they talk about other people. One guy who seems to just be in the restaurant every time we are there literally stares at us scowling and really seems to hate us being here.

Very friendly and helpful staff. So much choice of food and for vegetarians too. Pools were lovely. Rooms very spacious and comfortable. Everything was amazing!

The hotel is in the middle of a more residential area which wasn’t a deal breaker, but you don’t get that holiday feel that other Riu”s offer in Gran Canaria. Our welcome was good and our room acceptable. Dinner time was where it started to go wrong. There was a decent selection of nice food but it was so over crowded, there was not enough staff, it seemed uncontrolled and a free for all on if you could get a place to sit. The staff were pleasant in the restaurant but didn’t help us obtain a seat. The main Bar was very disorganised, we waited a long time to be served so went up to the bar where we were a member of staff copped her hands and firmly told us to sit down. All inclusive isn’t worth it when you can’t get a seat to eat and a drink in the bar! Unfortunately the hotel messed up on our arrival and didn’t take payment from my card, I had a guy walk in my room with a note from reception asking us to attend, I was very tried and my wallet in the safe so I thought I’d nip down in the morning. We nipped down to the show bar where we did manage to get served a bit quicker and then returned to our room quite early but we had been locked out. Reception had locked us out of our rooms because they had messed up my payment and wanted me to sort it that day. I was fuming! Reception have us new cards and didn’t admit locking both room cards, we then sat up until the nightclub opposite finished making noise at 12am and got some sleep . Needless to say we checked out next day. This hotel would be more at home in Benidorm !
