Hotel Nayra - Adults Only

Our tour operator dropped us off right outside the Yumbo centre. For those of you that don’t know, this is a huge shopping and restaurant centre and is very noisy at night. We were told to cross over, walk up a lane and our Hotel was on the left?! Were we to spend a week of sleepless nights so close to the Yumbo?? Not at all! On arrival we were blown away by the beauty and style of this gorgeous little single level Hotel. All rooms lead out onto the pool and you also have your own small private garden area at the rear to sit out or dry your clothes. The room was beautifully designed, to a high standard and high standard of cleanliness. The bed was extremely comfortable and considering the close proximity to amenities our stay was peaceful and relaxing due to the enclosed design and good quality build of rooms. Breakfast each morning was delicious and a large selection of hot and cold buffet also including made to order items and free tea and coffee all day! The service was warm and friendly, nothing was too much trouble My only complaint was that I had to leave at the end of my week as I could easily have stayed much longer

The hotel was absolutely perfect for me. I stayed in the Annex and just wanted a tranquil holiday. It delivered that in abundance. Superb breakfast buffet, and considering I'm vegan I found enough options to make sure I was set up for the day. The staff were lovely, couldn't ask for more. Location wise it was right in the centre of loads of bars, restaurants and other entertainment venues. But it was still exceptionally quiet. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel with no dissapoin**ents. We were in the annex, but both parts looked great . Friendly helpful staff, great breakfast in both quality and choice. Cool clean comfortable room which was very quiet and peaceful. We had expected some noise as it is so central but it was quiet and peaceful, we slept so well.

Great, small modern hotel in the centre of playa del ingles. Very clean & great staff, lovely buffet & cooked breakfast. Although near to the Yumbo Centre the hotel was quiet. Nice heated pool on site, also kept very clean. Lots of decent restaurants close at hand.

This hotel is a true gem. We stayed in April 2023 and we absolutely loved the place. It’s very modern, clean, and the breakfasts are gorgeous. The best thing about the hotel is the staff. They were all so friendly and really make the place what it is. We were hoping to get back last year in November but it was fully booked when we wanted to go. Thankfully we are going back in April again this year and can’t wait.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Nayra last month immensely. Our first time there, and it certainly won’t be our last. I understand now why it is such a popular hotel. We loved its tranquil ambience, despite it being in such a central location. Our room was in the annexe, across the road from the main hotel, which suited us perfectly. It was equipped with everything we needed: aircon; WiFi; kettle; refrigerator; TV; free safe deposit box etc. The open plan layout of the apar**ent, with terrace at the front and small private courtyard at the rear, worked for us. The front door lock mechanism takes a little explaining, which hotel staff demonstrate to you on arrival, if you are newbies like we were. We used the small swimming pool most afternoons. But didn’t bother using the sun loungers, as our terrace had sufficient afternoon sunshine. Similarly, we didn’t find it a hassle to walk across the road for breakfast, to get a coffee, or buy a drink. All the staff at the hotel are super-nice. They go about their business quietly and efficiently, but are more than happy to help or provide information if you ask. In summary, we’ll certainly stay at Hotel Nayra again when we next visit Gran Canaria.

Excellent hotel right in the centre of town. Great staff, good value food and drinks. Spotless rooms with fridges, beautiful pool, lots of sun beds and short stroll to the beach and the dunes. The big Yumbu “shopping centre” is across the road, but the clubs, shows, bars etc there don’t disturb the peace of the hotel.

Just left after a 5 night stay and had a wonderful time. Breakfast was great and the staff were lovely. They were all good but the lady on check-in desk (possibly German) was especially nice. The location was great and the pool area was very peaceful.

A really nice hotel the main building hotel rooms have a terrace facing the pool no problems of getting sunbeds At the other end of the room is a small private garden space with an awning Free toiletries and various other freebies also water in fridge which will be replaced, kettle with coffee and tea Uk channels bbc 1and2 STV bbc news Europe news, plenty of plugs and 2 usb points free safe,spotless, cleaned every day regarding the restaurant the breakfast very good various hot food even vegetables but you can get omelettes fried eggs and uk bacon made fresh also pancakes made fresh You can get free coffee from 7am till 7pm either espresso machine or cappuccino, white coffee and tea The restaurant has a nice menu for food not extensive but plenty of choice Cocktail 6 euros also even although you are directly apposite the yumbo centre It is very quiet we are a couple in our 70s wouldn’t hesitate to come back
