In general room we got was old and musty,no air conditioning or heating there was a wood burning stove but no wood …..patio was dirty and when asked they said there was a storm a day before! patio furniture broken ….excellent view of course.

We stayed in the Polynesian room and it was phenomenal! Super large with multiple couches, a wet bar, a comfortable king size bed, and over size deck. The restaurant is right below as well as the bars. It was very easy to walk downstairs have breakfast lunch or dinner and get it before dinner drink. The beach is a few stairs down And it was so gorgeous. The view from the room is phenomenal. The staff was so caring and welcoming and helpful. I wasn’t feeling well the day I arrived, and they brought our dinner up to our room after I ordered which was super convenient. They even brought me a portable fan. The staff went above and beyond and again one of the most comfortable beds, and we will be staying there again next year for longer. I highly recommend.

As always the best experience at wonderful beachfront hotel and restaurant. Only an hour south of the border, but it feels worlds away. We’ve been coming for over a decade and will continue to come here for every Mexican getaway. Cheryl the owner, Lourdes and all the staff, including Oscar at the restaurant, are always the best hosts and make every visit memorable.

Booked because everything else on the coast was gone, my bad for waiting too long. Mistake #1, paid the non-refundable deposit. Mistake #2, paid the balance. The stairway leading to the Mexican Room was dark, dilapidated, and carpet filthy. Room wasn't much better, just old, worn out. Bed was creaky and looked very uncomfortable. No view,, were told ocean view, and nice balcony.. Reality is its a piece of $h!t, with no real view, unless you lean over the balcony. Just as others wrote about theft here, the window over the rood, had a latch but could easily be opened from outside, and wasn't even sealed from bugs. Have no doubt someone could just step in from roof and steal valuables. We were disguste!!! Tried to "upgrade" but too late. Decided to look for a place to eat, nothing decent obvious in the area. It's just a poor, run down area on the coast. We decided to cut our losses and walked away without spending the night. Seemed like the safer and less disgusting of the two options. Maybe other rooms are OK, but realize photos "appear better than reality"! I'd rate this place a 5, a minus 5!!

The hotel is right of the freeway between Rosarita and Ensenada town 20 mins each way taxi costs to town $35.00-$40.00 . Hotel restaurant is very good ,staff is excellent. If you want to hide away their is NO TV , Fridge , heater, A/C etc. clean rooms you can walk to the beach, I saw dolphins ,food from restaurant wohh they hook you up. So depends on what you are looking for . Staff from security ,to cleaners ,front desk and yes even Hotel recommended taxi five stars . Also don't bother changing to local peso everything is $$. Not so cheap either expect US rates on food and drinks and taxis u r in the middle of nowhere. Everywhere you go lunch / Dinner /Breakfast $20.00 per instance .Idea of local ,cheaper ,mexico ,not happening. and payonline cheaper hotel charges 6%
