Great location on the Barbican and a ‘seafaring’ theme to breakfast-well cooked.

A very nice B&B! The owners are extremely accommodating. Rob explains the sights in the city of Plymouth in great detail with directions and where to find the best food for every taste. The location of the B&B is ideal and is centrally located in the old town (near the harbor / Barbican), yet the location is very quiet at the foot of Hoe Park. Rob was also very helpful in explaining the parking situation. Both were happy to answer any other questions. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was excellent, especially the specialties created by Rob himself. We highly recommend trying every single creation, it's definitely worth it! In addition, there is of course the traditional breakfast, which was also very good. A visit to the famous Plymouth Gin Distillery, which is just around the corner, is definitely recommended. This B&B is strongly recommended and we would certainly choose it again for our next stay in Plymouth.

First time we've stayed with Sue and Rob, but it was one of the most welcoming, friendly stays we've had. Nothing was too much trouble they couldn't do enough for us to make our stay comfortable. Even when the oven and grill broke Rob still managed to cook a hearty breakfast for Helen and me and the other guests. The cooker was replaced the next day with a new one. The guest house is spotlessly clean and tidy. Before we left we booked for next year. Well done Sue and Rob.

Have been here a few times now. Because it is just the best around Plymouth. Very short walk to the Barbican and Hoe. Very clean, comfortable and the breakfasts are just perfectly cooked. The parking is on street and we have never had a problem with space. Best to book directly with this B&B and the parking is sorted for you.

Great location just up a cobbled street from the main quayside. Very friendly welcome to our room overlooking the front street which was very quiet. Clean and tidy and comfy. Good breakfast to send us on our way in the morning. Kindly looked after our bags for a few hours while we wandered round Plymouth during the day. Thank you

Only had chance to stay one night but would have liked to stay longer. A lovely friendly guest house with great hosts. Rob and Sue are very helpful and make you welcome. Our room on the ground floor was cosy and had everything we needed with a nice ensuite and a good powerful shower. Breakfast was delicious and with some good choices. Would definitely recommend staying here and we will next time we are in Plymouth.

Stayed her for 2 nights for a Royal Navy reunion, the place is lovely. The rooms are spotless and the breakfast Devine. Thank you Rob and Sue for making my weekend so enjoyable. And your guest hose is so very convenient to the Barbican and parking a wheeze. However the seagulls were out of your control ….lol🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Stayed one night to go to theatre to see Les Miserables. 2 rooms needed Great welcoming hosts , clean rooms , comfy bed with few toiletries in bathroom. Tea and coffee making provided Had a fabulous breakfast with quality ingredients. Would happily return .

Once again another great stay at this wonderful guest house Rob and Sue are wonderful hosts and they will do anything to help their guests When I arrived there were no parking spaces and Sue gave me her parking space while Rob sorted out my parking permit -all in the pouring rain ! the rooms are spotless and the breakfast experience is fantastic with Robs famous specials ! We used to stay at Premier Inns in Plymouth but not any more It’s Rob and Sue every time
