Very clean hotel. The room (room 120) was also very clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast they had was decent with good choices so not to eating the same thing each day. The bakery next store was a great place to grab a ham and cheese if you wanted a lunch later in the day while on the go. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely hotel. Very clean and recently updated and in a central location in downtown Ponta Delgada. They have parking, spots might be limited if the hotel is full, but there is overflow parking and a grassy area right past main parking lot area. The hotel has all the basics- hand soap, body lotion, shampoo/body wash, and hair conditioner (which is a little watery, so it didn’t work well for my hair, but at least it’s there!). They provide tea and a hot water kettle. Coffee in the coffee machine apparently costs a $1 and the bottle of water is $2 (so they do charge for those). There is a fridge, but it was not very cool, but would keep a bottle of water a little cooler than room temperature, but not sure it would keep food from spoiling. The one ISSUE was that they have no ice bucket or ice machine- so if you want ice, the front desk has to get it from the restaurant/bar area they either put in bag (which leaks) or a beer mug (and then it melts pretty quick bc the fridge isn’t that cold), but that is really our only complaint. The included breakfast was basic, but enough for a light bite to get your day going! Eggs and bacon and veggies, ham and cheese platter, yogurt and jam, and breads! The breads were by far the best! They croissants and multigrain rolls were always super fresh and delicious. Coffee, juice and water is also all available. For the price and location, we were very happy with the hotel. We had a junior suite, and the extra room was helpful! Also- most of the rooms face the courtyard/parking lot, but there are about 4/6 rooms that’s face the street - if you prefer or don’t prefer a street view. Overall I would stay here again! Good location, parking, clean, and the hotel staff were pleasant.

Stayed for one night prior to flying out, was placed in a room by a staff/emergency exit on the end of a hallway. The hallways & doors are extremely loud and was disruptive for sleeping. I also didn't feel exactly secure with the balcony being at street level but locked it tight and didn't want to make a bother with only staying one night. With the white ledges/luggage area and bathrooms there are many unsightly scuffs and it appears dirty. Shower drain seemed clogged as it took over half hour to drain. OK hotel to stay for a night but wouldn't be comfortable there for more.

Somehow only rated 3 stars but an excellent place to stay in Ponta Delgada. It's no more than a 10-15 minute walk to the main square. The Room we stayed in had 2 twin beds and was very spacious and clean Room is newly renovated, including the bathroom with a waterfall showerhead. Breakfast was included and is a solid start to the day: eggs, bacon, cooked vegetables, two cheeses (the fresh cheese is outstanding), two meats, an assortment of bread/buns, yogurt, cereal, juices, and a coffee station. The hidden gem is Padaria Gomes - a local bakery - right next door. Do yourself a favour and get over at 9 am to order Malassadas (classic Portuguese donut). Recommend this cute hotel.
