Weve just returned from a week in this accommodation in Room 9 which was amazingly spacious and comfortable. For the price we paid though I think that some of the services need management input and approval: 1. We'd booked and paid for a private airport transfer on arrival but when we met the driver, he said he was waiting for a second couple. Eventually though, he took just us to the accommodation. 2. There were no toilet rolls in the bathroom so I had to go and find some. 3. The large glass dining table surface was not secured to the table legs which I thought was potentially dangerous. 4. The WiFi was incredibly unreliable and kept disconnecting. I lost count of how mant times each day I had to re-connect. 5. In the breakfast room, some of the crockery was chipped and should not have been used. The hot plate/hearing device was unable to keep the pancakes warm. 6. Our veranda was not clean - cigarette but from previous occupant and general debris. This was cleaned when I requested this. 7. The separate lounge was so dark with just a single lightbulb that reading was impossible and it was also difficult to see into the two wardrobes. 8. There was a single bottle of water in the room on arrival but in most places, for two guests, there would have been two and these would be renewed daily. On the positive side, my wife really appreciated the half bottle of Mateus Rose on her birthday. In conclusion we had a fantastic room in a fantastic location which simply needs better management. Overall, I'd recomment this accommodation but hope that Senior Management take these issues into account and resolve them.
