Hotel Porto Rico

Fatal. Horrible. Me dieron una habitación en la primera planta. El ruido del tráfico y de la calle que entra a través de ventanas que parecen de papel de lo poco que aíslan no era nada comparado con el que provenía de la recepción. Los recepcionistas no tienen ningún cuidado, hablan a gritos con los clientes pasada la medianoche, o incluso por teléfono a las cuatro de la mañana. Les da lo mismo si la gente duerme o no, o si les llamas la atención. Temprano por la mañana me despierta el ruido de un martillo hidráulico debajo de mi habitación, cuando en ningún momento me informaron de que hubiese obras. De las dos noches que me alojé allí, no pude pegar ojo ninguna. Creo que poder dormir es un básico en un hotel, independientemente del precio. Por otro lado las habitaciones están gélidas, tienes que dejar puesto el aire caliente tres o cuatro horas antes para que la temperatura adquiera un nivel soportable para el ser humano. Dicen que la habitación incluye un escritorio pero no es más que una mesilla de noche con una silla que no cabe. No cuentes con teletrabajar. El agua se sale de la ducha. Estoy muy enfadada. No recomiendo en absoluto aloj**** aquí.

I was very disappointed. The property was a block away from the actual reception area and they require the key be brought back anytime you leave. The towels were old and stained, the pillows were old and stained, the property was in less than acceptable condition.

Nice staff, centrally located, cleen and fair price. Walking distance to just about everything and a lot of restaurants around.

BEWARE!! Before you book a reservation at this location, it is not a hotel. This consists of 2 apar**ent buildings that are labeled as “hotels”. My family and I arrived and were required to pay on site. Upon paying, we were told that parking was an extra 25 euros per day and they might not able to accommodate my vehicle for two days. They stated their garage was full despite offering parking on their booking. We were then taken to a building about 2 blocks away which we were told is where our “room” was. Outside of said building, there were individuals smoking ********* and there are a series of restaurants and bars near the entrance. The entrance to the building was not secure. Upon entering the building to go to our room, we had to walk up 10 flights of stairs as there was no elevator. We entered the room which had an odd smell. The beds and pillows were not sterilized. One of the pillows had sweat stains and the bed appeared appeared as if someone had slept in it. In the bathroom, there weren’t many towels nor soaps aside from hand soap. This was an apar**ent that was being advertised as a hotel. There was no safety deposit box, coffee nor refreshments in the refrigerator. Upon returning from dinner, the restaurant next door had placed all their tables and chairs inside of the apar**ent lobby. We decided to leave and the owner refused to give us a refund, ignored all calls/emails from ******* and is falsely advertising this as a hotel. Do not stay here and get scammed.

Brilliant little 2 star hotel in the heart of the city. The staff were extremely friendly and on check in, they gave us a map and showed us a walk to do ourselves to ensure we saw all the sights. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on it. Air con worked super well. The shower was nice. Bed comfy. WiFi excellent.

It's a nice place to stay. I though that 2 Euros charges are included in the booking, but I realized its apart.

Loved everything about this hotel.
