The hotel is clean, comfortable, well looked after and the service is absolutely excellent, the hotel lives up to the good name that Premier Inn has nationally.

Its a great hotel which is quite near the beach. Its fantastic and services are very good so it's worth to stay again

I visited here for the first time for 2 nights from 4th-6th of May 2024. I visited here travelling from Hampshire, New Milton. I have never stayed in a Premier Inn hotel before. I came here alone as I was attending a concert at the Portsmouth guildhall on the 5th in the evening. The staff were very attentive, friendly. The restaurant was very quiet which was nice. The only points that I would say need improving is labels on the sink bathroom in the rooms saying the tap water is drinkable, to have info on the laminated poster to say about anyone wanting air con on in their room to have to go down to reception, maybe have small fridges in the rooms to leave guests with some water instead of buying from the vending machine. Economical toilet brush for times the rooms aren't cleaned by cleaners. Also to say on the laminate poster that you have to leave the card in the card slot near your hotel room door so that lights stay on. Phone in the room incase people do not want to keep going down to reception all the time or when they need something. The breakfast I found was nice and tasty but wasn't hot enough or could of been I got breakfast first before my drinks of tea or juice. The evening meal was good and deal was good.

Rooms are very hot and stuffy and can not be cooked down as the window doesn’t open and the air conditioning doesn’t go lower than 19. It wasn’t even a hot day outside. The pancakes at breakfast were very very dry. The car park ticket machines did not work k ok n reception. No soap or toilet paper in the ladies toilet right next to the restaurant.

The hotel was fine but the restaurant was not. There were food choices unavailable (even at breakfast) and the staff seemed neither to know nor care. There’s an excellent Lebanese restaurant (Leila) a five minute walk away where we ate very well.

Went with my daughter had a really lively time hotel was very clean and staff were lovely, food was great location was perfect aswell room was lovely

Check in was a bit disappointing as we felt more like an inconvenience rather than a guest. We were early and were told that our room wasn't ready which didn't worry us at all until they said that if we paid £10 we could go straight in! It seemed a bit odd that the room wasn't ready but £10 would miraculously make it available so we went for a walk instead! Apart from that, everything was great. Room was clean and warm, breakfast good, wifi was a bit slow but manageable. Excellent proximity to the station and the town centre. Kelly was always very helpful and friendly and the kitchen staff were very pleasant.

Room good, breakfast great, bar quiet and comfortable. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The best bit was Olivia breakfast waitress amazing girl, friendly great smile best legs in Portsmouth, and lovely bum too. Would love to have taken her for a drink, but I think she is a bit shy.
