Carnalbanagh House

The hosts are very friendly and helpful with any individual requests you may have. Excellent choice of breakfasts and the rooms are well equipped and cleaned and tidied each day. Although the house is located off the main road in a quiet area, Portstewart and the local shops are easily accessible. I hope to stay at the house in the future and is ideal for golfers and sightseeing.

We stayed two nights at this delightful B & B. The room was beautiful and very comfortable with a great view. We appreciated the fresh water and milk provided in the fridge. There was a big variety on the breakfast menu and was delicious. Our hosts were very friendly and we look forward to returning soon

Excellent . Spotlessly clean . All amenities in bedroom- fridge , safe, hair dryer, ironing board , kettle, tea/coffee /biscuits etc. Amazing choice for breakfast . Very helpful hosts . Customer service first class . Best B&B in Portstewart . Looking forward to a return visit .

We were extremely fortunate to have spent 3 nights at the Carnalbanagh House, enjoying the gracious hospitality of Shaun and Irene and their family. The location is perfect, just outside the hustle of Portstewart and is situated on the family farm with unforgettable views to Castlerock and the Inishowen Peninsula beyond. Our room was nothing less than outstanding, it was very comfortable with everything considered. The breakfast offers exceptional choices and as you would expect all homemade including Irene's delicious Wheaton Bread. You absolutely have to stay here if Portstewart or the vicinity is in your plans. It is simply wonderful and you will feel at home as soon as you arrive.

Fantastic stay. The service was first class and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and the setting was stunning with breathtaking views. Musseden temple could even be seen in the background (pictures don't do the view justice). The location was extremely handy, only a 5 minute drive to the main promenade of Portsweart. Thoughly enjoyed the stay and would definitely stay again and recommend to friends/family.

Just realised I forgot to write a review. We stayed for a week beginning of August last year. It was the most relaxing holiday we have ever had. Breakfast fry was a good start to the day. Free wi-fi and had a safe. Absolutely spotless. Our room at the front had excellent views. Best of both worlds with both sea views and countryside views. Great hosts. A great find - would highly recommend. Looking forward to returning this year.
