Villa Mary Suites

Great stay for 2 nights👏 We stayed in April - loved our experience! The hostess Tiziana is super helpful - helped booked dinner reservations, porter service, transfers etc. Beautiful room - sumptuous breakfast delivered to the balcony of your room every morning! Only issue is that this place is a good 10-15 mins up from the city centre, so overall does involve a lot of walking.

Tsitiana, the Owner (or “the Boss”), is an Owner who knows her hospitality business and she is one of the best at it. She knows everybody and she runs a lovely set of suites on the hillside of Positano. The breakfast is to die for (first class) with something for everyone. Sitting on the veranda overlooking the bay is why you are there and she/it doesn’t disappoint. The bedroom was spacious and very well appointed. She gave us tips for restaurants and trips and we found what we were looking for (we are discerning travellers who search out value). Tsitiana and Villa Marie Suites delivered. We have and will recommend this establishment to our friends and family wholeheartedly. Well done to all of the Team that make the suites memorable. The team did a good job. To make our trip complete, we were given a picture momento of Positano which is now framed and on our wall at home. Steve and Sue

What a beautiful, beautiful villa… the owner’s are wonderful and very helpful…we stayed there for several nights September/October 2023… it was magical and beyond our expectations… The owner ordered a car service out of Naples for us and made dinner reservations… she was always very helpful…I cannot say enough about this private, romantic villa…The breakfast each morning was 5 star… really…Our time there was relaxing… the villa and views are from a movie… staying at this property is a dream…

Tiziana and Antonio make you feel like family as soon as you arrive! The Villa is in a wonderful section of Positano and has spectacular views. The rooms are stunning and comfortable as are the beds and pillows. Each morning we were brought breakfast on your balcony, and it is simply incredible! my advice for your arrival is if you are dropped off at the first staircase at the bottom of the hill, it is a bit of a climb with your luggage, but once up top turn to the right, and keep going until you reach the entry door. We used their car service for arrival and departure, and found it very well worth it! We had an amazing stay and only wish we could have stayed longer than our three nights we were there.

We couldn't rate Villa Mary's more highly. The place is really beautiful, clean, decorated tastefully. The location is great to visit Positano. It is mainly a family run business and it shows ! Everyone was very thoughtful and helpful. We did Fabi's cooking class which wasn't our first class in Italy but by far the best. My husband lost his walled on the beach and Tiziana was incredibly helpful - and helped us find it ! Would definitely commend to anyone visiting Positano. Also breakfast was really really good and we had it served in our terrasse with an incredible view - truly a great experience.

Wonderful stay at Villa Mary!!!! Breathtaking views of Positano from our balcony, called Minerva. Tiziana was an amazingly kind host who welcomed us with a drink (of our choice - yes drink of our choice!). Then please let us share that we loved the delicious (large) breakfasts delivered to our private patio every morning. The rooms are beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. It is a relaxing getaway from the busy Positano center while still being very close. Tiziana was very helpful when booking reservations, drivers, and helping us decide on excursions. Thank you Tiziana, Queen of Positano. We would 100% percent stay here again!

Villa mary Recently returned from an AMAZING 7 week trip to Italy. Our much anticipated Positano stay at the beautiful Villa Mary was worth the 3 year wait since our planned covid trip in 2020. What a beautifully run, stunning, immaculate small hotel. Service exceptional, Tiziana (host) went over and above to make our 4 day stay memorable, organising dinners, transport, giving advice, friendship and even a photo shoot on our last evening! The enormous breakfast served on our suite’s balcony each morning whilst ogling the views to die for over Positano was a highlight each day, as well as swimming in the gorgeous little pool on the terrace each afternoon. LOVED LOVED our stay here. Highly recommended, thank you Tiziano and staff, will never forget the memories you helped us create in your beautiful part of the world.

Like everywhere in Positano, this former family estate is perched on, and over looking both the sea and Positano itself. Accessible by one small set of steps and a meandering lane, giving it a very authentic feel. What makes Villa Mary suites different from the other high end hotels is the warm welcome and relaxed feel that it’s owners share. It is such a home away from home yet with all the mod cons and a luxurious feel. I stayed in 3 different suites, each one unique, meticulously decorated and immaculate. What I liked is how each suite is designed to maximise that amazing view that you wake up to in the morning. Each has its own terrace where they serve you a hearty breakfast to order. The beds, the bedding, the general comfort level is absolutely excellent. I couldn’t fault anything. I tried an on-site cooking class with impressive results and I very much enjoyed the private pool area. This place is truly a hidden gem and the hosts are genuinely the nicest people I came across on my travels to this region.

Of the 3 weeks we spent visiting and traveling around Italy, staying at Villa Mary was the most unbelievably magical experience of our entire trip. When we first started planning our trip to Italy, many hotels in positano were already booked including Villa Mary. Having read the outstanding reviews on TripAdvisor, I thought it would be worth a chance in asking to be put on their waiting list for any last minute cancellations. Antonio let me know that there could be a chance that their newly built suite may be available at the time of our visit. We stayed in touch over the course of few weeks to see when we can move forward with booking. Antonio was extremely communicative and prompt in returning emails and letting us know of the progress. We finally were able to confirm that we could stay in their new suite and staying at this gem boutique hotel was going to happen!! Antonio kindly arranged transportation for us from the Naples train station to the hotel. Upon arrival, there are two ways to get to the Villa from the main road and it is located in a convenient spot. Steps are inevitable in Positano but there were not many from the Main Street to get to Villa. We finally arrived to Villa Mary and were led to our suite, Gianone. We were so blessed to be the first guests they had ever hosted at this gorgeous newly built suite. The cleanliness of the room and the villa was unmatched along with the stunning interior design of the suite which really embodied the Positano design. It was so stunning that it made it hard to leave the room in the mornings to go exploring. With gorgeous blue and white themed colors and large space to get ready, The suite had its own private balcony with the views of the island, the sea as well as the Villa’s pool which was another huge bonus as rarely any hotels have pools in Positano! Not only was our suite so beautiful but the service provided by Antonio, Tizana and their staff was truly unmatched. It felt like both Tizana and Antonio were family as we were made to feel so comfortable and they are simply just great people. We shared with them a negative experience we encountered at a restaurant one of our evenings out, and they took it completely upon themselves to give us a bottle of wine for what we had dealt with although it was completely out of their control! Tizana and Antonio have the amazing reviews they do, because they genuinely want their guests to enjoy their time and I don’t think our experience in Italy would have been so special without their hospitality. I cannot recommend Villa Mary suites enough. The only slight negative experience you will have by staying at Villa Mary suites is that no matter where else you ever visit and stay, you will never ever come across the same level of service with such warmth and hospitality as provided by Tizana and Antonio.
