We enjoyed a short 1-night stay at this oasis in Potch. The Standard Room was small but perfectly adequate for a short stay. Willem and Pieter were excellent hosts! The location is in a quiet suburb close to a decent restaurant, with secure parking, and only a 2-minute drive from the centre of town. Should we need to overnight in Potch again in the future, Michael-Angelo will definitely be our first choice!

Excellent hosts, let you feel very welcome away from home. Comfortable rooms with all amenities. Great breakfast and coffee. Doing a lot of effort with the small things to make your stay extra comfortable.

From arrival until I checked out, I was spoiled by Pieter and Willem, my hosts at the Guesthouse. The beautiful garden with swimming pool was beautifully decorated. The interior of the guesthouse decorated with antiques that complimented each other perfectly. The rooms also decorated to compliment in every detail carefully chosen. Superb breakfast was served every morning, made by Pieter with so much care and love. Thank you Pieter and Willem for making my stay so enjoyable.

The breakfast was absolutely fantastic! Pieter's breakfasts are an absolute experience. Pieter and Willem are great hosts and go the extra mile to ensure their guests are comfortable and happy. The atmosphere of the property immediately relaxes you after a long day. It's peaceful, quiet and private. I would absolutely recommend a stay here!

Hosts goes out of there way to make sure your stay is exceptional. Lots of xtra effort with welcome drink and best non standard breakfast you will find. The decor and art in main house out of this worldWell done Pieter and Willie.

Traveling alone in South Africa to visit old friends, I stayed one night at Michael-Angelo guest house. If my travel plans would've permitted, I would've stayed at least one more night. The hospitality and service of hosts Pieter and Willem is magnificent. The rooms are top, beautiful decorated and have everything you need. And on top the garden is a wonderful place to enjoy a nice glass of wine. Pieter will be able to give you some good wine tips. The next morning I was in for a surprise when I had breakfast. Classical music in the background. A wonderful cup of tea. While fruits, yoghurt, croissants, meat, baked tomato and fluffed eggs were being served. Definitely a place I want to return to! By the way, the surroundings of Potchefstroom have beautiful scenery. With hill landscape in which you will be able to spot local wildlife. And the artist town Parys is close by.

The rooms are beautifully decorated, the bed is wonderfully comfortable. The guest house is homely, the breakfasts are AMAZING and DELICIOUS - the breakfasts every morning were never the same and made with love and care as I have allergies - Thank you Peter! Willem and Peter really make you feel welcome and offer advice on the best restaurants and places of interest in the area, even willing to make a reservation for you. Our family will definitely be back.

We were in Potchefstroom for a cricket tournament and stayed at the Michael-Angelo Guest House. Before we arrived, Willem had been really helpful in offering advice on trips, routes etc. Both Pieter and Willem were very welcoming and attentive hosts. The accommodation is of a high standard, and our room was very comfortable, with immediate access to the garden and pool area. Breakfasts were excellent and filled us up for the day. With a covered shared area outside there was a chance to relax and meet with other guests. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

We had an amazing stay in the most relaxing surroundings. Willem and Pieter made our stay a memorable one. Pieters breakfasts were the highlight of the day and we enjoyed relaxing in thier beautiful home and being made to feel so welcomed. A must stay when your in Potch
