Very good hotel with excellent food and excellent service. Beautiful sea view from the room. There is a bus stop at the hotel and another bus stop is located close to the hotel. The rooms and the entire hotel are very clean. The room has a comfortable bed and TV. About 15 minutes walk from the hotel is the beach - very atmospheric.

Was in italy in May for 19 days stayed in 7 cities and this place was our favorite, the Open Gate team were fantastic. Beautiful view ,good food, 10 min walk to a public beach , there is a public bus stop at the door of the hôtel to bring you to Amalfi and Positano for 1.80$. No need to use your car. We loved or stay and if we go back this will be our location again. Thanks open Gate. Stephane and Myriam.

This hotel was everything and more I could ask, from the attendants to the cleanness of the room. This was the best affordable opción in the coast. When you arrive the gentleman at the front desk was kind and helpful, the room was perfect and very clean and let me tell you about the FOOD of this place, it was AMAZINGGG, very fresh and home made also a great price . If you’re thinking about choosing this place do yourself a favor. Breakfast, WiFi, parking and on the main road without climbing stairs. For me this was a five stars hotel. Thank you for your Amazing hospitality ❤️

Loved this gem! We had a gorgeous balcony looking overlooking the water. We loved staying here versus Positano as it was way more peaceful and quiet. Buses were easy to get up and down the coast from here. The family who runs the place was incredibly hospitable. Room was very very clean, bed was comfortable and breakfast was great. Highly recommend and I would definitely stay here again. Restaurant for dinner was great too with a nice view.

The staff here was incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. The property is very clean and in a great location with wonderful views from your room. We loved our stay here and highly recommend this hotel!

Stunning views! It’s on the main road which I didn’t know when we booked but it was still gorgeous! And quiet at night with the balcony doors closed. And did I mention stunning views? And the owners and staff very helpful and accommodating.

Amazing week! Our room was perfect, very clean with a great view - even USB plugs for charging. The restaurant was wonderful with so many different choices for breakfast and dinner. The hosts were so amazing and gracious. And Open Gate is ideally located on the bus line or with ample parking if you drive. We will be back!

Well-located and charming family-run hotel. Pasquale and his sister Daniela were so helpful in arranging transportation and providing information on the area. We enjoyed having our daily cappuccino and breakfast on the patio to start our day and loved having dinner at the hotel one night. As we had a short visit with day trips to Capri and Positano, would have loved spending more time at the hotel enjoying our terrace. Lovely stay in the charming town of Praiano.
