Unique location full of charme in a isolated place but 15 min drive from Gubbio . Confortable. Nice pool. Good breakfast

Wonderful castle hotel in Umbria. Beautiful room, facilities, staff were amazing. Such a peaceful, idyllic location for easy day trips to surrounding sites. Really good restaurant.

Great place to relax and unwind. The restaurant was above average with a great wine selection. And it’s very close to beautiful Gubbio.

We stayed for one night at this beautiful location. We also made a reservation for the restaurant that evening. We called one day beforehand to confirm our reservation. Upon arrival the reception didn't know about this, so we asked again. When entering the restaurant, they also didn't know about it. This already were signs that the organisation isn't structured and communication between departments is poor. The food was disappointing. The tagiatelli with ragu tasted like it was made a few days ago and heated up again; a shame for an Italian restaurant if you ask me. After the horrible Primi, we decided not to take a Secundi or dessert. Other guests also did not seem too happy about their food. However, it wasn't that expensive, so expectations can't be that high. The staff from the spa and welness arrived at 6:30AM. I can tell because they were loudly chatting in the courtyard of the castle. The cleaning ladies decided to make sure everyone was waken up by talking in the corridors at 8AM. To wrap it up: beautiful location, horrible service and disappointing food. Looking at previous comments, on which we decided to book this hotel, my guess is that it has been taken over or that the place lost its glory.

Fantstic place. Really serviceminded staff. At first we got a bit old-smelly room. They were so sorry and immediately we good a new very nice room. Nice pool-area, very good restaurant, very nice livingroom with a bar to sit in after dinner. Stunning view. Close to Gubbio, a must-go.

Siamo in un gruppo di 16 amici a cui piace giocare a carte e quasi ogni anno ho l'onere ed il piacere di organizzare dei weekend lunghi per combinare il gioco al turismo enogastronomico. L'organizzazione non è mai semplice anche perché è un gruppo abbastanza esigente ed eterogeneo. Quest'anno ho scelto questa struttura ed al termine del soggiorno.. tutti i partecipanti sono stati entusiasti del castello. Grazie al supporto e la professionalità di Giacomo, che saluto e ringrazio, tutto è andato benissimo e le aspettative sono state ampiamente superate. La struttura è stata ristrutturata da poco e le nostre camere (junior suite e deluxe) erano tutte molto belle ed ognuna aveva un suo fascino. Abbiamo cenato al ristorante con la formula mezza pensione ed il cibo oltre che vario è sempre stato ottimo ed abbondante. Infine vorrei ringraziare tutto lo staff del Castello della Baccaresca, il personale del bar e del ristorante che hanno sopportato la nostra confusione e quello ai piani per avere curato le nostre camere. Grazie e complimenti a tutti! Ci rivedremo sicuramente...

Un luogo incantevole dove tornare appena possibile, scoperto per caso questo bellissimo albergo in un angolo di paradiso in mezzo alle colline umbre si è rivelato una piacevole sorpresa per la cura dei dettagli e la cortesia del personale che ci ha fatti sentire a nostro agio.
