Todo bien según lo esperado. Es más bien un hotel sin la distinción de otros Paradores que son clásicos en un castillo.

The Parador was easy to reach and there was plenty of parking. It is one of the smaller and newer Paradors we’ve stayed at and is well maintained. The staff was friendly. The room was a decent size and nicely furnished. Walking into town and up to the castle, via the stairs, took about 15 minutes. The grout in the shower was in need of a good cleaning.

Stayed one night en route to holiday destination. Good location just off motorway. All good, clean,tidy and good food. Pool was out of service though.The mediaeval village is very close and looks interesting but we didn’t have time to explore.

A very handy hotel for us by its location and a much enjoyed break in our journeys to and from our home in southern Galicia. Modern in style but with a touch of history from the origins of the building. Very quiet location and a good night´s rest guaranteed. The restaurant serves up tasty dinners and the typical hearty Parador breakfasts are always enjoyed.

I have high expectations of paradores. Puebla de Sanabria met my expectations. The receptionist arranged for an on time taxi to get me to the station (see below), and even advised me that an imminent fire alarm was just a drill (I was in the garden reading). I didn't have breakfast, but dinner was very good. The property is just a few minutes from the bridge below the stunning castle. Puebla de Sanabria is a truly lovely village. (Note: I was there on weekdays in early October. I don't know about summer weekends!)
Note that if you arrive on a long distance train, the station is quite far away, there's no sidewalks for much of the way, and I didn't see a taxi coming or going. You need to get a hotel to book one, or do it yourself, in advance. (A lovely resident on my arriving train saw my plight and bailed me out. I am grateful for that.)

Visita obligada a lagos y lagunas. Oportunidad para conocer la historia (subir a la torre del homenaje del castillo). La Junta de Castilla y León no realiza las inversiones necesarias de mantenimiento y mejora del Centro de interpretación del Lago (los interactivos tienen datos hasta 2010).

Muy satisfechos con nuestra estancia en el Parador de Puebla de Sanabria. Habitación amplia, cómoda y acogedora, con mucho esmero y cuidado en todos los detalles. Tranquilidad y silencio total. Muy bonitas las vistas al pueblo, las montañas y el Castillo de los Condes de Benavente. Todo el personal muy amable y atento. En el restaurante, buena comida con productos de la zona y atención inmejorable por parte de los camareros.

Muy buen servicio tanto de personal como calidad del restauranre/menú. Como punto a mejorar la calefacción de la habitación era excesiva, parecía que el termostato no funcionaba correctamente por lo que hubo que apagar los radiadores.
