Suymar Ecolodge Galapagos

This is a place to enjoy nature, wake up in the morning and listen the famous Darwin's finches fluttering around the ample gardens with a nice cup of freshly brewed Galapagos coffee. The location is 5 minutes walk from Bellavista, which is 10 minutes drive from the bustling town of Puerto Ayora, yet, feels very close. The property is 600 ft ASL aprox. The Staff from Suymar is very friendly and accommodating to us guests. Providing info to all different sites in Santa Cruz Is. If you would like to see the giant tortoises, you are 15 minutes drive from there! Taxis for 4 people max will take you there. Delicious breakfast is served (not just a continental one!) Upon request dinners can be made, delicious ones at a very affordable rate! Highly recommended. Galapagos is a Tech-detox place :)

We went on group trip with 10 people to The Galapagos the first week of December 2023. Our stay at the Suymar Ecolodge was amazing. The family is so friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and the rooms were quaint and clean. The location is a short walk to the small town where you get a feel for the local life and a short and inexpensive taxi ride to the port to take the boats to the other islands. I would highly recommend.

An absolutely beautiful gem of a place, just a short taxi ride from Puerto Ayora. The owner is an artist whose murals and mosaics make everything colorful and beautiful. The rooms are comfortable, and the food was delicious. Service was excellent - they went out of their way to arrange a taxi to meet me when I got off the ferry from Baltra.

We enjoyed our stay at Suymar Ecolodge. The rooms were comfortable and the food was fantastic, using local ingredients. The highlight, though, was getting to know the family (and their pets!), who took great care of us and helped with many aspects of our trip. The hotel is located in the town of Bellavista and is provides a quieter and more authentic experience than staying in the tourist strip in Puerto Ayora, yet is very convenient to Puerto Ayora and departure spots for many of the other tourist sites you will likely visit.

Estuvimos 4 dias y fuimos muy bien atendidos por Marco y su familia. Siempre atentos a lo que podamos necesitar. El lugar es muy lindo, tranquilo y limpio. Nos ayudaron con las excursiones y logística. El desayuno muy bien tambien. Muy recomendable.
