Hotel Enai

We stayed as a family of 4 in early July and were really impressed by this hotel. We booked 2 third floor rooms which were well appointed and spacious. The hotel restaurant is the only option for meals in the immediate area, but serves excellent food which was great value. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful… our luggage was lost for the first 3 days of the trip and they went out of their way to make sure we could still do everything we had planned. They chased the airline on our behalf and even lent us warm clothes during the unusually cold weather. We caught piranha, saw cayman on Lake Sandoval and enjoyed seeing the beautiful birdlife. I would not hesitate to recommend Hotel Enai.

Well organised hotel about 5 kms out of the town along a dirt road on the backs of the river. Very comfortable rooms , plenty hot water. If staying here the in hotel restaurant is your only option and meal choices were limited but very tasty and reasonably priced. Tour desk has about 20 choices if tours - found the tree top walk brilliant and sandilovan lake not so good ( maybe because we didn’t see many animals?!?). Hotel arranged airport transfer. Would not stay in the town of Puerto Maldonada. .

Hotel Enai was absolutely flawless. Great rooms, super helpful staff and excellent food. They helped me organise all tours during my stay which was through Hacienda Herrera and were all fantastic. From the restaurant, you have a beautiful view of the jungle and the Madre de Dios river which was really magical. Can not recommend highly enough.

I was originally planning to go on a 4-day jungle adventure at a jungle lodge, but decided to stay at Hotel Enai instead and could not have been happier with this decision. The heat in the jungle is intense so it is incredibly nice to escape the heat in the air-conditioned rooms and beautiful pool. Plus, the hotel partners with a tour operator so you can book a la carte excursions that perfectly suit your interests. The food is amazing and the staff is friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Hotel Enai for your trip to Puerto Maldonado!

Beautiful property and amazing staff. This is the perfect place to explore the jungle. Even though all the staff were so friendly, I want to mention Oscar specifically. If only every hotel chain in the world can read this. If you can clone Oscar and put him in every hotel in the world, I promise you that all your guests stay will be extraordinary. This man is a rare gem that you find in the hotel industry. No words can describe his hospitality. Thank you for being an amazing person and making our stay more incredible.

Hotel has everything you need. It is comfortable and accesible to the river. They have a very nice restaurant which offers a varied menu; dishes are plentiful. Richard is an excellent bartender and waiter. With a vast experience in hotel business, he is very attentive and respectful. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious with view to Madre de Dios Lake. Superior rooms have air condition which works very well. We met Belén, one of the owners that is always there and on top of everything. Prior to our stay there were a lot of communications regarding taxis and tours. She recommended Somos Selva and that was a plus to our stay. Very personal hotel. Highly recommend it!

The staff and the service at this hotel were wonderful. The food was excellent and Claudia looked after us brilliantly. All the trips were lovely and as advertised. Could not have been nicer. Can highly recommend.

We stayed at the Enai Boutique Hotel in Puerto Maldonado for 2 nights and it was a great spot to explore the Peruvian Amazon. It's in the jungle but not all the way in, which means if you want, you can get a 15min taxi to the local town. The hotel set-up has an open, modern, minimalist, and yet luxurious feel. We felt very comfortable in the surroundings and most importantly our hotel room which was very spacious. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the bathroom was fully functioning and clean. The staff was lovely and very accommodating. Luis spoke English very well and was super helpful with ensuring we had whatever we needed or made recommendations for tours and transport either to the nearby town or to/from the airport. The hotel has its own dock from which boats and guides pick up guests for excursions. The staff helped with arranging these as well. The food and drink at the hotel was good - serving classic Peruvian / local dishes. We were up early and doing excursions both days so we didn't spend too much time in the hotel but it still seemed like a lovely place to relax. A safe haven in the jungle. We would definitely return to Enai and recommend you visit also. Note: There is no elevator to the rooms on the upper floors. This isn't an issue for us but worth bearing in mind, in case you have issues with flights of stairs or not packing light ;-)

Very avergae stay. Decent room, decent food, decent everything. Very off from everything, but they can arrange tours from the front desk into nerby adventures. Not the best stay, not the worst. But one would think there'd be AC in the room If the you're located in the humid jungle ans its close to 30 degrees
