Ventus at Marina El Cid Spa & Beach Resort - All Inclusive

Lokalizacja jest fantastyczna poza plażą. Plaża, na której znajdował się ośrodek, miała gównianą tonę wodorostów, więc tak naprawdę nie mogliśmy pływać na plaży, ale nic wielkiego, ponieważ baseny i jacuzzi są tu wspaniałe! Nie przegapisz nawet plaży! Jedzenie było niesamowite, mają tam wiele restauracji w ośrodku. Wszelkiego rodzaju odmiany. Obsługa pokoju była nieco powolna, ale jest to również duży ośrodek, więc czy naprawdę możesz ich winić? Ogólnie 10/10 poleciłoby?

Staff can be rude at times - property has no beach, rooms are mediocre, food is good and you get upcharged for everything.

First off after checking into our Platinum stay, we were appraoached by the “Concierge” welcoming us etc..kept referring to the all inclusive drinking of alcohol and food, then she fast talked us into giving her 200 pesos to have a discounted massage, all we had to do was attend a vacation club..(time share) by the time we realized we hooked into a presentation, we didn’t want to go, it took two days of trying to get our money back, not a good scene! We liked that the people working were so wonderful, happy and kind for the most part. We practiced our Spanglish as much as we could..food was good, they did well for feeding a huge amount of people. The thing we didn’t like was that so many people hogged the good chairs in the adult pool area, we even saw a couple that had their things on a couch seating area that could fit seven, for the two of them then they walked over , left their things on the couch area walked to the sun chairs where they had some things there also..I cannot get over this greed! There are clear signs that say don’t save spots with towels..I’ve seen saved spots for the whole day with no one there. Appreciated having our Butler (David) made all our dinner reservations and made sure we had wine in our room and practiced English with us as we practiced our Spanish.

The property wanted ti upsell everything. We were charged per hour for late check out and they disconnected our card at noon anyway.

We travel every year to Cancun and we stayed in many resorts that we loved and this one was no different. Place was amazing, service was awesome, food and drinks was delicious and so many options, our favor restaurant was the French and Italian one. The buffet was also amazing. All the servers were courteous and amazing and very helpful. We definitely will go back. The only negative thing was the beach other than that we would give 9.5 stars

I love these properties; this was my second stay. Only have a few complaints (1) They changed the room service tray policy. We used to just set it outside, now they want you to call to have it picked up and you have to wait for pickup. This would not have been an issue except not once did they actually come to pick it up when we called so we waited around several times just for no one to show up, we always had to just end up leaving the tray outside after waiting over an hour each time. (2) There is nothing close by these resorts, so it is convenient that they have a couple stores on site with some emergency items. Issue is the stores are often just closed with a will reopen in 30 minute sign but didn't reopen in 30 minutes, the sign just stayed up all day. (3) I got super bad food poisoning this trip, ruined the last couple days. =( (4) We paid for an (expensive) upgrade to a room with a jetted tub in it but it was never cleaned, not once. We did ask for our room to be cleaned but the tub was never touched. Terrible for an "upgrade". (5) They need to do something about people locking down every chair by the adult pools but then never using them. It ruins it for those who would use a chair. Out of 8 days, we were only able to get lounge chairs by the adult pool once. Other than those minor things, still a GREAT place to stay.

We stayed for 6 nights and were able to enjoy the resort fully. Our room was very clean on arrival and was cleaned every day for us. The staff also does a turn down service without being asked, which was a nice surprise each evening. The dining options are nice, concierge was very helpful getting us reservations to most of their restaurants for dinner. El Mercado buffet, was very convenient for lunch and has a wide range of options so nothing becomes boring. They have a cafe, that opens at 7am and we thoroughly enjoyed their coffee and pastries every morning since we are early risers but don’t get super hungry that early. Breakfast places are all over the 3 properties and are also very good. The pools and bars are also great! The staff is very friendly and respectful. We stayed at Ventus, and did not feel the need to venture to the other pools, but it was very nice to know we could if we wanted to. Now for the down sides; if you are looking for a long spacious beach, that is not found here. The beach is nice, the water is clear, BUT because of the coral reef that this area is known for (the second largest on the world) the beach is rocky and not as beautiful as further north in Cancun or south in Tulum. However, it is there for your limited enjoyment. We ventured off property for a beach day. The only other thing is the WiFi, if you are constantly on your phone, signal at the resort is not great. Overall, we loved this resort and would go back.

The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, my requests were always accommodated, the Food was a mix, some mediocre, some good, some great, the Ceviche was just excellent, KOBO was out of this world, the pools were good, and the temperature-controlled pools were just fantastic, the gyms were good, looking at the ocean while doing cardio was terrific, I have stayed at better all-inclusive resorts but with a different budget, so I will not compare apples to oranges; the money spent for the Holiday season was well spent. The beach is probably the only thing I did not like, but I knew that from the pictures and reviews. Recommended.

Property had everything that a tourist needs in terms of food and drinks. Beach was not tht great.
