Stayed for a week in October. the hotel was lovely. Very chilled and relaxing hotel. There were no sunbed wars. Pool bar prices were reasonable & the food was really nice. 2 for 1 cocktails 12-1 daily. The pool was quite cold, but OK once you're in. The views from the pool, looking out onto the harbour, were fantastic. The view from the room, looking out onto the Commercial Centre, were also lovely. It looked gorgeous at night when everywhere was lit up. The only down side for me, was the fact there is no bar on site, once the pool bar has closed at 5pm there's no other options, but that certainly didn't ruin my holiday, it just would have nice to be able been to grab a drink whilst waiting for friends. I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely fantastic stay here. We had the most amazing relaxed 2 weeks. We were in room 201, we had a decent view over puerto rico and a lovely distant view of the beach and harbour. Our little gecko friends who lived in the wall at the side of our balcony were a joy to watch. Our Room was fabulous, clean, and tidy with everything we needed for a self-catering holiday. The pool was stunning along with the sun terrace and pool bar. There are plenty of sunbeds to go around and no early morning sunbed dash. Hotel is a 10 minute walk down to the commercial centre where all the shops bars and restaurants are or a taxi down for €5. We can't wait to return next year, this is 100% our new go to hotel.

For a studio apartment the room is really spacious with a decent bathroom and a good balcony offering lovely views over Puerto Rico and the sea. Rooms very clean and well looked after by the staff. You get a list of days room will be cleaned and towels changed so make sure to read this. Air con is just OK for me - I didn't think it was working at 100% but guy on reception dealt with my issue without any fuss. Staff everywhere are friendly and good at their jobs. Beds are two singles pushed together (as often they are). Room is well equipped if you want to cook for yourself and shower was lovely. We were on floor 3 just below pool level. No issues with noise and steps up right outside our room. Pool area is big enough and has great views. We had breakfast there on one day which Ibfelt was overpriced compared to the town for what you get but it saves you a walk/taxi. Happy hour from 12-1 with 2 for 1 drinks is a great touch and very popular. You arr high up but not as high as some. Walk down to commercial centre and/or beach is not particularly daunting and there a number of different routes. We found the best to be left around one bend of the road then down two sets of steps and you are at the back of the PR shopping centre. You can ise the lft in the montebello across the road (actually split lifts, first down to pool level on floor 5 and then 2nd around the corner takes you down a bit of the way but still a bit to go. You can also just follow the road down the bus station or turn right after first set of steps and get to station as well which is a quicker way to the beach. Taxis are plentiful and cheap - takes about 3 mins to taxi from centre to hotel for between 3.85 and 5 depending on time of day/night and whether you tip. For fitness enthisiasts the steps and winding roads are great. You can also run/walk out to playa des amadoes from PR harbour along a very pleasant coastal walk.

very nice hotel, very modern, rooms are spacious and well maintained. We had room with outside hot tub on the balcony. Pool Bar was good, got busy around happy hour surprise surprise!!! staff are ok, could do with being more friendly and smile more. It is located at the top of the cliff area, so be prepared to walk down/Up steps!!! or get a taxi. One issue was the cleanliness of the rooms, I had to ask twice during the week for the rooms to be cleaned as was missed on both occasions and always after the non serviced days they have. Overall a decent place to stay.

Really comfortable hotel. Recently refurbished. Decent value for money. Couldn't fault it really. Happy hour 12 till 1. Nice cocktails. Food is basic but tasty. Pool is very clean and plenty of beds available.. If any criticism, could do with a vending machine in reception for basics, as if you arrive late will struggle for a shop.

Really nice hotel and clean but a few things to note. Room cleaning is very sporadic, it does say it doesn’t happen everyday however even when our room clean was due they didn’t give clean towels or make the beds! Then had to ask at reception. Another thing, I asked round the pool for some ice to pop in my water bottle and the man said I would be charged a euro for ice! Very bizarre - he does have an attitude and isn’t very friendly so that was disappointing but overall a lovely stay!
