It's a great location but the room was very small and musty, the bathroom was even smaller could not move around at all, the towels old and looked dirty. We only stayed for one night, and didn't spend any time in
the room only for sleeping, and the bed was hard as a rock.
Pretty noisy at the night but we knew that was the case because of the location, thats why we had ear plugs. We thought it was over priced, but we payed for location not hotel.

Staff friendly and curteous. Room was not as advertised. No balcony tiny bathroom furniture falling apart. Understand it was a very humid area but smell of mold each time you entered.

The staff were great but the hotel really needs to work. The furniture in the rooms was unconfortable and the drawers in the dresser drawers were completely busted half were outright un-usable. the chairs on the balcony used to have cushions but no longer , just iron chairs. The air conditioner was very weak. The lounge chairs at the pool are extremely uncomfortable with no cushions . the whole place needs some TLC. Staff were great and everything was cleaned daily and professionally . The streets starting EARLY in the AM were extremely noisy and there is no way to get a good night sleep in this hotel currently.

Playa los arcos is a nice resort, however if you are looking for a peaceful vacation do not stay here. Incredibly noisy and rooms are loud at night, beach you cannot relax on with how many vendors are coming and going, every 30 secs. Food is not good in resort, food in the city is amazing. Beds are absolutely awful and rock hard. Showers do not get warm, rooms are not anything like the pictures. Pool in the resort has very little sun. Staff were nice except in the buffet, some were rude if you didn’t tip every single day. Would not recommend this resort, will not stay again.

The area is great, pool, beach side, restaurant are all great. Rooms not so much we had trouble with the toilet and no hot water. They did come fix the toilet quickly. They said there was air in the pipes for not getting hot water. Rooms need updating. But for the price it was well worth it.
