This hotel have terrible employees especially supervisor not even friendly very rude disrespectful we had problems with our reservation because for somehow the third party did not inform the hotel that we had 2 kids so the supervisor of the hotel that night called Carlos refused to let us check in if we do not pay them kids as adults as it was as triple price that we paid so we had to go checked in to another hotel for them to find out with their reservation teams due to the fact that we came late so the next day this same supervisor and other staff did not even apologise and talk to us as we are nobody so disappointed and disrespectful not even try to give us discount or accommodate us
Very very bad place even though the decor as stunning
Food was not good as had an allergic reaction after eating something which I never ever had allergies in my life

The resort itself was beautiful but there were pros and cons. More cons than I wanted. Pool closed at 6 pm so no night swimming which left little to do in the evenings. Drinks were weak, drank all day long with no effect. Food was the worst. The buffet was terrible and was really our only option since the snack bar ran out of burgers, basically lived on chips and salsa the entire trip. The restaurants which you needed to make reservations for was a joke. The reservation app didn’t work so you had to wake am up at 6 am to stand in line until 8 am in hopes of getting a reservation. The service was not pleasant. Workers badly made eye contact with you and you always felt like you were bothering them when requesting a beverage or asking a question. The resort has potential if they stopped it up on service, food, drinks and entertainment.

전체적으로 만족스럽습니다. 장점은 레이지풀.. 아이들이 정말 좋아했어요. 그리고 숙소 컨디션도 좋았고, 직원들도 친절했고 액스트라 베드 비용이 없어서 좋았어요. 단점은 쇼핑이 조금 멀고, 위치도 조금멀어요. 결정적으로 바다가 그리 좋진 않았어요

Upon arrival we went in to shower. The shower was flooding up stairs called front desk and no one ever came to fix it. One night it rained and it rained in our room. Staff is very rude and not enough entertainment on the resort. Stay at Ocean in Mexico and the experiment was totally different. Also they called the night before to see what time to come pick up luggage for department and no one ever showed up to get us or our luggage. We had to walk up to the front and we got soaking wet. We will not be staying there again.

Travelled with my family to Ocean El Faro. This resort is amazing and the staff was excellent! Loved the different food theme nights at the buffet. Make sure to check out Sakura which is one of the reservation-only restaurants. The hosts and Chefs put on a great show during your meal. Special thanks goes to our Concierge Carlos Carter who was super helpful throughout our stay at the resort. Would definitely come back again.

My wife and 2 boys just got back from our family vacation at Ocean El Faro. We had the best vacation ever. The place had everything for the whole family, had a bowling alley and arcade for our kids had multiple amazing restaurants for dinner options. The beach is phenomenal especially the private lagoon. It is also located close to all of the excursions. The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable, helpful and enjoy their jobs. The facilities and rooms are spotless and the sunrise over the ocean is breathtaking. We will definitely be back. Thanks again Ocean El Faro!!

The staff was amazing! The drinks were awesome as well. Japanese hibachi was the best restaurant there. You need to be making reservations at 8 am to get in there though...The buffet always had something good to eat...only part I didn't like was the upsell for the "privileged" area...also try to push a timeshare, and won't take no for an answer.

We were downgraded from our swim up room upon arrival, as were many other people which we were told during the week by many other unhappy, downgraded people. Those who fought, were able to eventually get the room they booked. We were able to get ours 2 days into our vacation. The rooms were not cleaned well. We were faced with long black hairs throughout our room and bathrooms by the previous occupants. The beach is a disappointment. It is all rocks and you can’t go into the water. You can use a public beach/lagoon to the left of the resort. This beach was also dirty with garbage. If you bought the privilege package for drinks, you won’t be able to get privilege drinks in the restaurants. Our butler Jose was wonderful! He made sure that we were well looked after the entire stay and made all of our dinner reservations for us and made sure any other requests we had, were filled.
