I went alone but never bored. I had a late check in and everything was spot on. I communicated with the hotel about my flight change and quick response they booked me a taxi which was there waiting at weeee hours of the morning. The cleanliness was %100 rooms clean I cannot fault. I enjoyed the bus ride, the Uber was ok. The area was quiet if anyone looking for closeness but the taxi price was good. There was so much to do. My last day went to the spa over by the aqua park OMG it was rejuvenating only thing was you have to pay with a discount if you are staying at the hotel., for 2 hours 25 euros I think it can be a little cheaper for hotel guest. But I am not one to complain it is a kids friendly hotel so expect to hear kids running around planning to bring my grandkids next time, I know they will enjoy it. Breakfast was ok, ate outside for dinner there is so much place to choose from. Just a Uber ride away. A big shout out to Bruno very good cocktail and he gave me tips of places to eat out side. Amazing, only one thing spoils the visit. 😔 It's 12 30 am and all we can hear is kids running (thump thump ) along the corridor to obviously get to their rooms. Staff, remind people so late to be respectful. Parents, stop being so selfish. People are in bed. Everything else has been amqzing, restaurant, cleaning and bar staff absolutely amazing. Place is spotless,friendly and would come back.

We didn't want to come home. The staff were great, we loved the hotel and will definitely be back. We used the outdoor pool, indoor pool and spa facilities. The hotel is a bit secluded and we couldn't go anywhere without transport but once we realised that the Bolt app (like Uber) was a fraction of the cost of a taxi, we were exploring regularly. Vilamoura Marina was great for food/drinks. The waterpark was good fun, even better that it was included. The queues could be long but that's standard with these places.

My son and I went to the AquaShow Hotel for a few nights in July. Its was OK. It has a small lounge and bar which wasn't really used /open, a restaurant which has an evening buffet and buffet breakfast. There is a pool side bar serving drinks and bar food. It is very much a hotel to facilite the AquaShow Water Park next door. If you are take the family and kids to the water park it is perfect. If you are expecting refind service and experience you will be dissapointed. The pool is quite small but that's OK as you have one of Europe's largest water parks next door. The rooms are good quality and most Importabtly the hotel is clean and looked after. There is a games room which is small and a little tired. Food is OK, buffet evening food was suffice but not amazing. Drinks / cocktail list was good though. Staff were friendly but as with many hotels such as this the check in check out and requests were just a process, almost robotic. I would recommend if you are going to the water park for sure.

Really enjoyed a 3 night star here at Aquashow Park Hotel. It was nice and quiet which is what we needed this time of year. All the staff from the minute we arrived until we left were so helpful. We enjoyed the meals in the restaurant, everything was tasty and hot. Nice selection every night too. We made use of the gym, indoor pool, spa, outdoor pool & the games room. All areas were clean, looked new, well kept and comfortable to be around. Only downfall was no crisps 😂 and the amount of small children taking over the jacuzzi when cleared signposted no under 16’s but not the end of the world. I recommend downloading Uber when you arrive and catching a taxi to your hotel as the airport taxi cost 31€ yet the Uber cost is only 11€! Local markets are really nice to go and visit if you’re a morning bee, the staff cab direct you to the seasonal ones. Really impressed with our visit here and will be back in the summer. Also the indoor water park next door is absolutely worth the money! We spent 2 days there and was so impressed!

From airport by taxi it was 30 minutes. Reception staff were welcoming and helpful. Check in is at 1600hrs. I arrived at 1100hrs. I was given all the details i needed. I was offered use of the baggage store to leave my bag until my room was ready and invited to enjoy all the facilities including the waterpark. A wrist band was provided which gives free access to the waterpark. Rooms - very modern as seen in the brochure/online pictures. Large comfy firm bed and a large walk in shower in the bathroom. Shower pressure was fantastic. Toiletries in bathroom are provided but no tea/ coffee in the room. There is a mini fridge. I had a balcony over looking the waterpark. I thought this would be noisy but as i was out all day it was no issue and at night when the park is closed it was lovely and quiet. The rooms over looking the hotel pool area will be subject to noise from the pool bar and restaurant at night. Hotel Wifi in my room worked perfectly. My room faced the hills the sun rose from so the view in the early morning was great. Restaurant- buffet style, help yourself for breakfast with plenty for all dietary needs. Hot plate, fresh fruit, cheese, pastries, cereals, yoghurt, soy milk, teas, coffees and juices. I'm vegan and there was adequate vegan options. Dinner is a la carte .. menu with limited vegan options but tasty and the service was fantastic. The full menu was extensive and looked to have something for everyone. Bar - the bar serves from 1100 till midnight. All the usual drinks. There's a cafe style snack bar too selling burgers salads chips pizza etc. You can buy large bottles of water here to take to your room if required. Location - Three are a few restaurants within 10 minutes walk. If you want to walk further you can walk to Central Quateira in about 50 minutes or take a taxi. I walked this route... most on pavement but there's a few bits of the walk just on the highway.. so not suitable if you have mobility restrictions. I also walked to Loule. Market Town.. about 5 miles north. Was a decent walking challenge to say the least with much of it without footpath. You can get a cab there for about 10/12euros. And it's worth a visit. Really nice town and market. Quateira beachfront is lovely this time of year. Its warm but still classed as low season and as such there are few crowds and the beaches are very quiet. The waterpark also had low numbers... no queues. Id recommend coming here this time of year if quiet is your thing. I loved it. Gym - there's a hotel gym... a multifunction weights station, bike, treadmill and free weights. WiFi is iffy in the gym. Pool - Hotel pool area is small but as there's not many here at this time of year it was lovely to relax. WiFi worked by the pool and there were plenty of sunbeds. The pool water was cold but in the heat of the day it was welcome. I read a review that this hotel doesn't accept card payment. This is NOT CORRECT. CARDS ARE AC

Recommended for families but make sure to have or rent a car because of the location.
