The experience at The Residence Hotel was amazing. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to provide anything you needed. For example, my wife isn’t a fan of seafood, and they prepared a special dinner just for her, different from the menu that night. The hotel’s design makes it feel as if the beach is a part of the hotel itself, which was truly unique. We enjoyed sitting on the hotel’s deckchairs just 2 meters from the beach, even at night. It was an experience like no other, and we will definitely be coming back.

After a week at the residence, you won't want to return home. The rooms, location, staff and service are special and the team look after you so well. Recommend the spa, especially the after sun treatment, breakfast was also delicious. We will be back.

Location: Belle Mare beach one of the beautiful beaches on the east coast. Room: comfy bed, spacious, clean, stocked with toiletries, drinking water, coffee and tea everyday. You also have your own butler who checks in on you and gives you a card that has different quotes every night. Food: breakfast was great and offers varieties of food. They have different dinner cuisines as buffet every night. We tried the Indian cuisine and it was really good. The hotel has gym, free fitness and yoga classes, spa and beach house that offers free water activities such as snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking... etc. there is also a diving center if you want to go for scuba diving. Entertainment: every night there's live music performance from 6:30 pm to 10:00. There are water stations where ever you go where you can find regular water and detox water which is very helpful to keep yourself hydrated while spending time on the beach. The sanctuary spa: did the sanctuary massage for 90 mins with the therapist Divya. She was very nice and attentive from the moment I stepped on the spa to the moment I left. And the massage was great! Highly recommend her.

An amazing night at the resort. We had a couple night at the beach. Food was amazing and our waiter, Wish- was amazing from the minute we came there was a real atmosphere for a couple lovely dinner ⭐️everything from the decorations to the tasting of the meal and drinks, to the suiting music and the location for our selfs at the beach was just wonderful- our absolutely best recommendations

My family and I had the most wonderful time at this hotel, and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Mauritius. The facilities were brilliant, and the people were so kind and helpful. Our butler, Vimal, made our stay very special by going above and beyond. The food was delicious and there was a great variety at each buffet. The entertainment each night was very good: my family and particularly enjoyed the frequent performances by the female singer who was engaging and very technically proficient. The hotel put us in contact with the taxi driver Umesh for the week, and we are very grateful to him for his patience and for sharing his knowledge of the beautiful island with us at each destination we visited.

It was very wonder full. The stuff was very kind. They make us a perfect honeymoon. If you want a make some trips, ask Keven . He is the best! The food was exelent. The room is nice and clean. The coktalis are very good and tasty. The wether in september is perfect.

Two weeks at the Residence flew away too fast. Once again (this was our 4th stay in the last 7 years) we appreciated every single moment spent here: relaxing at the beach with a good book, playing tennis and watersports, going for a walk on soft sand, and meeting new friends with the same passion for bocce bowls and beachvolley - just a remark: the volley net at the beach needs to be properly fixed ;-) Last but not least, we enjoyed the excellent food from the Dining Room, The Verandah and the Plantation. The attention that The Residence pays to his customers is really appreciated. I will not dwell too much with this review and I would like to send our sincere thanks to all the staff who took care of us and made us feel even better than home.

The entire time was an amazing experience, from the moment we stepped out of our taxi—nearly 24 hours after leaving our home—to the moment we began our return journey. We stayed for 8 nights and had the opportunity to experience the full rotation of dinner buffets. There wasn't a single day when any of us struggled to find something tasty to eat. If you enjoy sampling different cuisines, I can wholeheartedly recommend this. If buffet style isn't your preference, give the Plantation restaurant a try. We opted for a lobster menu, and combined with the atmosphere and ambiance—complete with sea sounds and views—it made for a perfect evening. All the staff we interacted with were extremely helpful, always smiling, and positive, whether they were cooks, cleaning staff, butlers, or bartenders. Our butler, Joselyn, made a particularly great impression on us, and we hope that she can take care of us again when we return. Another memorable staff member was Hoomash, a smiling bartender who was always there when we were in the mood for a cocktail. The beach and sea were almost picture-perfect. We spent hours on the beach even during the off-season when the sun frequently hid behind clouds. It never felt cold, and even the wind was more pleasant than annoying. We had no complaints regarding our room and cleaning services. The walk-in wardrobes in the bathroom were a plus, especially after returning from the beach. Our terrace had a lovely view of the sea, and we spent pleasant times sitting there, listening to the sea crashing on the reefs and the sounds of nature. Although the hotel is not exactly small—with over a hundred rooms, if memory serves—we never had to wait or felt part of a crowd, nor was there any need to raise our voices to hear each other. Overall, this was an exceptionally pleasant holiday, full of rest and great experiences.
