I can’t say enough about the lovely, lovely staff at Cap Diamant! They were wonderful and the French breakfasts each morning were such a treat. We had one problem, which left a little blemish on an otherwise perfect trip. I had called the Manager, Paule, a month before our visit to state that one couple would need their room for an additional night. I was told that it would be no problem. Our friend actually double checked with one of the girls to confirm that this was recorded, and was assured that it was. The morning of our departure, our friends were asked to remove their things from their room so that it could be cleaned. When they stated that they were staying an additional night, they were told that the room was not available. The Manager, Paule, was called and she came to speak to us. She was adamant in saying the room had been booked for months and our friends would have to move to another hotel. She was firm and not at all apologetic, where a simple “I’m so sorry this has happened” would have gone a long way. Paule should perhaps take a lesson in customer service from her lovely staff.
