Appart Hotel le Saint-Anselme

We really enjoyed our stay, the apar**ent was clean, very well equipped, and there was a good variety of restaurants and bars in the area. I recommend staying in this aparthotel

Since we were staying a full week, having an apar**ent instead of a hotel room was the way to go and Hotel Saint Anseleme was perfect! The bedroom and bed were extremely comfortable. We enjoyed having a back terrace to sit on nice days. We had a couple issues with appliances not working, but the manager was extremely responsive. The location is great: in the middle of a lively ***** of restaurants and fun bars. A quick note: our bedroom, in unit #2, faced a very popular bar, which was open until 3am. We didn't mind at all, but something to factor if you are not accustomed to city noise (it was most lively on weekends). We would 100% stay here again!

Everything was excellent but it is a across from a club that closes at 3 am so bring your earplugs since the revelers like to hang out a bit outside after it closes.

Although the apar**ent was very clean, the beds were not comfortable, with soft and wobbly or very hard mattresses. In addition, the windows did not have screens, so they could not be opened for air as insects could get in. Parking is not convenient as located 8-10 min walk from the appar**ent.

Loved the place and location. It is a city, tho the area is more residential, so parking can be tough. The lot you will have a tag for, is only a couple hundred yards away, but depending on the timing, it can be very difficult if not impossible to find a space since it is a public lot. We tried to leave the car and just walk and it worked out well. Old Quebec is only a mile or so away and we prefer to walk to get a much better feel of the area. Found the best brioche just a cple blocks away down St Joeseph, called Le Croquembouche Patisserie and the pizza place across the street from the front door is good. I’m from Connecticut so the best pizza anywhere is but a short drive away but considering where you are, it’s good. Sandra was great with communication and had a very detailed information booklet laid out very well. The only negatives would be the ac unit is right next to where you sit on the balcony and it runs constantly. It is only as loud as a noisy fan so you can still have a normal conversation but it’s like having a loud sound machine. U get used to it. The patio below has plenty of herbs n veggies for you to pick. The biggest issue is from the noise outside when the bar gets out at 3am. It is located across the street from bedroom. First night was bad then we turned on bathroom fan and sleep music to drown it out and it was fine after. Overall great experience

We slept 2 nights in a 1 bedroom apar**ent. We can absolutely recommend this hotel. The apar**ent is tastefully and comfortably furnished: great attention to details, comfortable bed, luxury linen, nice sofa. Our host was very kind and helpful during our stay. The hotel is situated in a lively neighborhood where you can find unique shops and restaurants. A great find!
