The place is Circa 1902 and that describes the rest of it. The method of entry with noone present was not the easiest and took a few goes to work. The bed was very soft. The bathroom facilities were very outdated. There was a room freshener that was very potent and sickly sweet, maybe to hide other odours or just the owners preferred aroma?
I would'nt go back again.

Beautiful place just renovated with true historical features from the Edwardian era. You have to share a bathroom but it’s worth it! The views in all directions are stunning please come here if you can!

在昆斯克裏夫衹住一晚，第二天乘坐渡輪過海去莫寧頓半島。晚上六點多到的，小鎮上已經看不到人了，店鋪也都關閉了。攜程上搜尋這裏的酒店，沒有幾家，適合我們這樣夫妻倆帶三個孩子的房型更是沒什麼選擇，衹有這家比較合適，缺點是公共衞浴，沒有廚房。按賣家發的手機短訊，打開整棟樓的密碼門，在前台桌上找到我房間的鑰匙。公共衞浴很乾凈，有個茶水間，外麪店鋪都關了，就在這裏用微波爐加熱了我們帶的食物。第二天離開的時候見到了房子的男主人，熱情的幫我們指路去港口。這棟樓應該是老建築，像座博物館，置身其中彷彿穿越了一般，也是不錯的一種體驗！這一晚衹見到一對老夫婦住宿，古堡一樣的樓裏就我們兩間客人，孩子有點兒怕，不敢自己上廁所😂。

The owner is very nice, but the stay wasn't.
The rooms are very small - just 2-3 feet on each side of the bed. No closet or shelves to hold clothes.
All males in the 16 rooms must share 1 toilet and 1 sink (2 showers).
The owner has not set up Wi-Fi. You can only get it on an Aussie phone.

We will definitely stay again -it has such charm. We loved sitting on the balcony with local fish and chips and sleeping in one of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay, and anyone can have a breakdown, the hot water didn’t really inconvenience us! We will come back!

Very impersonal. No one to meet you. Self check in with key left in an envelope at front desk. Front door key pad not working, guests locked out. Very hot and stuffy room being a hot day. Fan in room broken and not working. Contacted owner by phone and told her we were paying too much for a room where BASIC amenities were not working. I was given instructions to obtain replacement fan from cleaners’ store room - replacement fan was 1000 fold more decrepit than the first!!! Both fans fell apart!!!! Very disappointed with owner’s unsympathetic response regarding broken fan and sounded annoyed that I was inconveniencing her at 9.30pm. I was told that she could not come out as it was out of hours and advised to open balcony windows to get ocean breeze. Being late at night this attracted mosquitoes, flies and felt unsafe as balcony was accessible to all guests and visitors!

Excellent communication and directions. Unfortunately the front door at midnight wouldn’t open and kept self locking. The lovely man that came to our rescue was able to open the door from the inside. He said it was doing this at tge moment. Please have this seen too. It wasn’t a nice feeling standing outside when you’re tired and instructions weren’t working. Otherwise a lovely comfy bed and nice and quiet. We’ll be back. Thankyou

We loved the old world charm and it’s convenience to the main shopping area. Also within walking distance to the beach. Peaceful and safe setting, loved our stay.
