Beyond Amazing, The estate is absolutely stunning and our host Micheal was more than accomodating, has a wealth of knowledge and an absolute legend. Could not have dreamed of a better place. Perfect view of the shotover river and hot tub to soak it all in. This is the place to stay if you need some R & R Anyone not reviewing this place 5/5 has rocks in their heads.

We booked the three types of accommodation here for a wedding and found it was the perfect location. It certainly makes it a lot easier to stay where the wedding is going to be. The gardens here are magnificent, as are the views-there were even apple trees laden with fruit. From a certain point on the lawn you can look down on the river and see the jet boats doing wild rides. The hosts were nice; there if you needed them but quietly in the background if not, and very obliging. Trelawn is close to town but not too close - it was good to get away from the crowds and the traffic.

My husband and I visited Trelawn Place for our honeymoon. We stayed in the little cottage overlooking the Shotover River. The Cottage itself was perfect. It was super cosy and felt very warm and welcoming. It had a little kitchen and living area to cook your own meals and a lovely table out on the deck with a magnificent view. Our hosts Micheal and Nery were lovely and kind people and had some really great insights into things to do and assisted us in some great places to stop by on our drive to Dunedin. It was very clean and well maintained. The perfect little getaway. Hopefully we'll be able to visit again soon.

We stayed in the apartment that is part of Trelawn Place. The buildings are stone and very picturesque and the gardens impeccably kept. The apartment space was full of character and the bed very comfortable. There is a lovely outside terrace with a covered veranda and the views from the property of the surrounding mountains and the river were spectacular. One of the nicest aspects was the spa pool which directly overlooks the Shotover river - a lovely spot to relax after a day of outdoors adventures.

My wife and I stayed four nights at the Cherry Tree House overlooking the Shotover River at the edge of the property and absolutely loved it. The entire Trelawn Place property, which consists of a couple B&B rooms in the main house and another couple smaller cottages, is exquisitely beautiful with lovely gardens, rolling lawn, wonderful stonework. It is literally built onto the side of a cliff and feels like a secret hideaway as you drive in from the main road. Hosts Michael and Neri were welcoming and friendly. As much as we enjoyed days and nights out in and around Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu and Arrowtown, it was great to be able to escape from the craziness that is downtown Queenstown when the day was done, and it's just a five minute drive into town. For those wanting to stay in the heart of the city, this isn't it. If you want a beautiful, serene retreat that's close but feels like another planet, this is it!

Aug 21 There was no rodent plan in place and mice where eating our food When we talked to the owners they got upset and told us they are little creature's keeping warm in winter We found the situation a bit comical

A beautiful setting and friendly hosts with very comfortable accommodation. We self catered very happily and totally enjoyed our three night stay. The spa with views over the Shotover River was an absolute treat. We asked for and received very helpful and informative advice about local walks.

Our family had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay at Trelawn over Xmas. It is not your usual hotel and motel accommodation, and more of an exclusive lodge setting. The Stone Cottage and apartment are very cute, tidy, well appointed and comfortable. The location above Skippers Canyon, immaculate grounds, gardens and sunny aspect are very relaxing. We were able to both eat at home and enjoy the property, and also venture into Queenstown, Arthurs Point and Arrowntown at our convenience. It is only 5 minutes into Queenstown. We will return to Trelawn.

The pictures don’t do it justice. Absolutely beautiful location. Cherry Cottage was warm (even though it snowed while we were there), very comfortable, spotlessly clean, with stunning views. Michael and Nery were wonderful hosts - an upgrade to their best cottage, a cuppa on their deck when we arrived, servicing the cottage a couple of times during our week and so friendly. The spa was the icing on the cake with amazing views. Felt very spoilt during our week. Would love to stay again and have already recommended to friends and family.
