Hotel Platinum

Very pleasant hotel. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms good quality and very clean. Restaurant is fairly small for a hotel of this size (particularly if an event going on) but food good and plentiful. Easy to get rickshaw from outside hotel to anywhere - we went to the cricket (about a 20 minute ride)

The check in process was very efficient and very quick. The front desk staff were very courteous. The rooms were reasonably sized and the house keeping staff did a very good job with the cleaning. The breakfast spread was very average, the food was average and the service at the breakfast needs big improvement. It was not an issue with the staff, they were all courteous and polite, but it was an issue of capability of the staff. Even though they tried their best and were sincere, it was just not good enough coz they didn't know how to ***age the breakfast. Sometimes there was just no staff available if we needed anything and the bread toaster didn't work properly. The room service was very quick and the room service staff were courteous too!

The hotel is one of the worst I stayed in so far. Rooms were unsanitary and so wash washroom. The washbasin was broken plus the mattress was so terrible that my back ached. Even food tasted terribly. The room lighting was also very dim so that you don’t see the room properly and know their flaws. Don’t waste your money. Please don’t book this or stay in this hotel.

I think the ownership of the hotel does not have any experience in running hospitality business, the staff is nice and well intended but does not have any training in hotel business , I booked through ********** with all mela inclusive but at the hotel they refused to honor the meal part and they wanted me to take up with ********** , internet connection was very sketchy and they had no room router left , I asked for iron which they sent in the room which was not working , the locker box in the room had wrong instructions on how to operate , I did not try there foos so cannot comment on that , the Aircondition worked perfectly , at the time of checkout they had no staff to come over and get the bags so I had to drag all the suitcases myself , I would not stay here agin If I had a choice , I normally stay at fern but due to cricket match in rajkot they were sold out , it is a great location so an experienced operator can really do well , I wish them good luck

We booked this hotel for just one night stay. But it's better to avoid this property. Rooms were stinky due to the smell of smoking but they were in denial mode. After a lot of altercation they agreed to change the rooms. Staffs behaviour was not up to the expectation. No hot water during night. They kept the centralised geyser switched off. We had to take bath with cold water at 5AM. Better to avoid this property, especially if you are with young kids.

Un welcoming reception.Front desk needs a improvement.Not so friendly.I waited for check out despite being informed in advance.Food taste need to be improved and nothing big on menu. Location is close by to market.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Platinum Hotel over 5 nights. The rooms were hugely comfortable and very clean - very large, enough space to keep all our luggage, all the toiletries/shower caps/other amenities you would need as well as a secure safe and free bottled water. The restaurant was great - the buffet was very reasonably priced with a full range of local and international options. The staff in the restaurant were lovely - always greeting us with a smile and quick to serve. They went out of their way to obtain certain local items which were desired for breakfast. The service at the hotel was very good especially in housekeeping. It beat even the top 5 star hotel in which we stayed in Delhi - housekeeping was so quick to bring anything we asked for, our bags were brought up or down promptly etc. The door***, for example, called us autos promptly and always greeted us with a friendly smile. The laundry service was also very reasonably priced and quick to come back. Thanks to Mr. Chaudhary for arranging our stay and taking care of all the requests we had, e.g. re organising intercity travel. Minor suggestions - laundry was returned slightly damp on some days and billing can be clearer (the breakdown of bills in for room service/the restaurant etc is presented differently to the breakdown of the final bills). It turns out the hotel offered free airport transportation but we were not made aware of this initially.
