Conrad Maldives Rangali Island

Is a good hotel I ever stay, great facilities and also with helpful people who are working there.

We celebrated our 30th anniversary by visiting 3 of the 4 Hilton properties in the Maldives. We started with 6 nights at the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island, followed by 5 nights at the Hilton Amingiri before our last 5 nights at the Waldorf Astoria. I am a Lifetime Diamond member and the Maldives has been a bucket list destination for us for the past few years. We’ve stayed at several of the luxury properties in the Hilton portfolio including 12 Waldorf Astoria locations around the globe. We were greeted at the airport by Afrah and checked in for our seaplane transfer before being transported to the Conrad lounge. Upon arrival to the island, we were greeted by the leadership team including the GM Mr. Thomas Hoeborn. Our host Anna gave us a tour and shared information about the resort and the Lifetime Diamond member benefits including the planting of a coconut tree to recognize loyalty to Hilton which I thought was a very creative idea. I attended the manager’s reception on the day of our arrival and met several members of the management team. I enjoyed speaking with Xavier, Duane, and Nashid. Mr. Nashid has been at the Conrad for over 20 years and is a wealth of knowledge. I had the pleasure of meeting the Operations Manager Mrs. Evghenia Popazoglo whom I had seen at the seaplane counter and in the Conrad lounge but assumed that she was a guest. She has been at the Conrad Maldives for two years and I appreciated her conversation. I had on a Conrad Tulum shirt and we talked about that property as well as my upcoming stays at the Hilton Amingiri and Waldorf Astoria both of which she has visited. Mrs. Popazoglo is a great ambassador for the Hilton brand. I shared with her that I thought the chair massage at the manager’s reception was another creative idea. I took advantage of the opportunity and got a massage from Sylvia. Mrs. Popazoglo is very engaging and extremely kind as she gave be a buggy ride to the villa. Anna was leaving for vacation so after 3 days and we received a seamless transfer to Haisam who we were introduced to upon arrival as well. Both hosts were awesome and took excellent care of us. We were impressed with all the staff members we met during our stay. Shark coached us on the “lazy breakfast at Vilu. We ate breakfast 3 mornings at Vilu and 3 mornings at Atoll. We had great dinners at Rangali Bar, Vilu, Sunset Grill, Ufaa, and Mandhoo Spa Restaurant. Ufaa was one of our favorite meals of our entire trip. We enjoyed the daily Happy Hour at Vilu and Leo always took good care of us. We enjoyed a relaxing Hot Stone Couple’s Massage at the Over-water Spa with Mod and Sylvia. Sylvia performed my wife’s massage but remembered me from the manager’s reception. Mod has worked at the Conrad for several years and was outstanding. Karma worked at the Conrad previously and my massage was so relaxing that I fell asleep a couple of times. Amir did a great job of cleaning our room daily. Thanks also to the follo

Incredible place but disappointed bc we spent honeymoon for 5 days but concierge didn’t offer us any honeymoon benefits(even when we had the marriage certificate), for other couples that we talked, they offered private breakfast, spa time and restaurant. At the end manager gave us 2little padnotebooks as an apology, it was very rude not to get in touch before our checkout day to solve things out in time. Besides that, restaurant are very good, and highlight to spa therapists Mon and Jodi and spa receptionist , they were super nice!

Back for another visit to Conrad Rangali, staying in a sunset water villa with pool for 9 nights. Regardless of the accommodation and facilities, which are excellent, the primary reason for returning to this resort was the staff. From the 'experienced' staff such as Leo and Shark at Vilu, to the wider team of Moochi at Ufaa, Abxy at vilu breakfast, Lai, Lateef, Lizette and Azan the service, friendliness and attention to detail were excellent. Lai was a ray of sunshine at Vilu breakfast (except the day after the staff party :-) ) for such a new member to the team she was brilliant. The whole stay was smooth, with Haisam, our host, getting the perfect balance of support and organisation without being too pushy on the upsell opportunities, he made us aware of what was available and left us to make our own minds up without any pressure. Having been to this resort so many times recently, my one suggestion would be for some updates to the menus, they don't appear to have changed significantly in the last 3 visits. So in response to the review title, yes this place is still as good and yes we will be back as soon as possible.

Living the dream in a Paradise island and what a “Wow” it was. We spent five nights at the Conrad Maldives and since our arrival at the Male airport we were greeted, guided, and provided seamless check-in by the Conrad personnel to board the seaplane. Once we arrived the Conrad at Ragali Island the check-in continued to be exceptional. Svea our coordinator was excellent and involved on all the details of our stay making us feel very special. The entire team at the Conrad were service driven and totally engaged on the needs of the guest. I had the opportunity to meet with the new GM Mr. Thomas Hoeborn who was very attentive and made our last night very special at his private happy hour gathering for Hilton Honor members. The resort has two islands, with three different happy hours every day (unique from other resorts), excellent dining options, hospitable ambiance. My kudos to everyone in the resort for the excellent service we received. A shout out to bartender Myo Win from Rangali Bar that went out of his way to provide us with top-notch service. The highlight of our stay was dinner at “Mandhoo “ right by the water (make sure you reserve ahead of time). The other highlight was our amazing massage at the overlooking the water, by therapist Ana y Lola. The location, attention to detail and accommodating service was one of a kind. I have recommended this resort to my brother who will be visiting late March of next year and suggest to all of you reading to not let this experience pass you by.

My new wife and I spent three days on honeymoon at the Conrad Maldives last week, and had the best vacation experience EVER. While traveling and vacationing in the Maldives comes at a cost, I honestly feel that every penny spent at the Conrad Maldives provided a huge ROI for the fun and best hotel experience I have ever had. As a regular business traveler for more than a decade, I have never experienced the level of customer service this resort provides its guest. The overall experience from arrival via Seaplane, to having a dedicated Conceriege rep on the island assigned to us, to interacting with hotel resort staff ( most of whom has been working for the property for a long time which says a lot), and finally to the Ocean sports team, was outstanding. I would like to provide a special shoutout to the team at Ocean sports, Mabrook, Saheed, and Adam, all of whom provided myself and my wife with such a great experience. If you are looking to have a BLAST on a vacation, the time and money is well spent with the Ocean sports team. My wife and I did Jet Ski's for two days with Mabrook and had the most thrilling experience ever on a Jet Ski. We followed this up by engaging in a Parasail with Mabrook and Adam, and was amazed by the level of professionalism that comes with Parasailing at the Conrad. The hotel has a customized boat that allows you to Parasail and land directly from the boat without even getting in the water. Another shoutout I would like to provide is to Ameel, who is in charge of taking photos for the photoshoots. We booked a 1 hour photoshoot and the pictures he took were by far superior to any hotel/vacation photoshoots I have ever had done. Just astonished by the picture quality and his technique for getting the perfect shot of my wife and I. Lastly, Erika provided us with a friendly experience as the dedicated concereige rep during our stay. In general, this is a great concept and leads to an extraordinary customer service experience. My wife Stephanie and I look forward to returning to the Maldives on a more frequent basis, and when we do, we will stick to staying at the Conrad. We are sold on becoming regular customers! This hotel is magnificent. We have been four times to the Maldives. The nature is beautiful everywhere, but what really stands out here is the quality of the food and the service. It is pricy (as all hotels in the Maldives) but we were not disappointed with anything. The breakfast is incredible, we did not have to eat lunch after that. I went to the gym every day, it was empty and nice.

Nice staff but the sunrise villa is outdated. Was here late fall 2021 and I guess the climate change is a giant challenge for the resort. Choose another resort, considering the price. Maybe the lesson for me is, never return and try to top the experience 😎. We have 5 more nights here and I should have gone to another resort/island if I had seen and known the fallbacks earlier. But, there are lot’s of islands and resorts to choose from other than Conrad Rangali so good luck!
