Very nice and new hotel. Great location for touring the Blackhills. Comfortable beds, nice shower and excellent breakfast. The only downside was housekeeping left us short a few towels and toilet paper one night. The front desk took care of it quickly.

We had a lovely stay 2 nights at this hotel. As others have said, it is nice and new. They have an indoor pool and hot tub; the pool water was a bit cool. The breakfast was a little above average and in a nice seating area. As mentioned, the bed and pillows were better than other hotels we stayed at too. Our room keys were a little tricky getting to work but that may have been our fault. Lots of places to eat in the area.

Very comfortable beds, probably the best beds and pillows I've experienced in a hotel in a long time. There seemed to be ample power ports in the room for plugging in devices although I did find at least one USB port that was not working. Two minor complaints, the room could use better dusting, there was a lot of dust above the headboards and other solid surfaces. Also it would be nice if there were recycle bins in the lobby area for cans, plastic, etc. We asked but were told there were none available.

We stayed here on vacation. It was the perfect location. Easy on and off access to all of the sights we wanted to see. It's very clean. Comfortable bed. The only downside is that water pressure for showers wasn't the best, but it worked. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

We have stayed at many Holiday Inn Expresses but this one is below par. When you arrive the entrance door is not automatic. They have a handicapped button to push to open it, but it did not work, so struggle with bags to open the door. The room did not have a microwave! Others we have stayed in did. We used the microwave in the breakfast area but it was dirty with something spilled all over in it. They were also out of bottled water at the desk. The shower only got Luke warm and the tub drain was very slow, leaving you in ankle deep water. The tub was very slippery so they had a rubber mat you could put in it. Yuck!

We have always enjoyed staying at Holiday Inns through the years. However, do not book here as it is a scam when they say it is refundable. I somehow got Protech reservation for this and it was going to cost me over $400 a night. I canceled within an hour of booking. Holiday Inn refunded a major portion but I am still out over $500. This is false advertising and nothing but a hassle trying to recover money. I usually never give bad reviews, but this is misleading.

this is the 1st hotel we stayed in after landing in Rapid City- easy to get to from the airport and the cleanest and nicest of all the hotels we stayed in during our nearly 2 week stay in SD - the staff were great- Double Cicada Brood 2024 the breakfast had a good variety of food- the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable- i would stay here again

Stayed here for 2 nights on our roadtrip. Got to say great hotel and location. Room was spotless and comfortable. Alex on reception recommended a great place for food. Breakfast was plentiful and a good selection. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Very nice hotel for families, convenient to Mt Rushmore and Rapid City. Quiet rooms and good breakfast. Staff was helpful. Hotel has a nice pool and workout area too and seemed to be able to accommodate the large number of guests for breakfast well. Good sized rooms.
